Aaron- I'm a 4th year geology student at the University of Saskatchewan. I just bought your book because I've been fascinated by "useless degrees" ever since the Occupy Movement started. However, you did not mention my major once in your book! I was quite disappointed. What are your thoughts on an undergraduate geology degree?
Geology is good, for now. I would maybe focus on some engineering classes as well. But my various agents in the field, a lot of them work in mining and geology is a good degree to have.

Random guy here, but Geology might be a decent one if you get into the oil industry and specialize a bit.
Geology is good, for now. I would maybe focus on some engineering classes as well. But my various agents in the field, a lot of them work in mining and geology is a good degree to have.
Go for geology master's degree too to have have more chances for employment.
How about taking online masters programs? surely Geology is also in there.
