This was bound to happen, as states keep raising their minimum wage. We will inevitably reach the point where a fat food joint is completely automated, with perhaps just a shift manager present to make sure all is going smoothly, and maybe not even that.
"Flippy" what a name. It's almost like "Flippy the Middle Finger". Does anyone remember "Bernie Madeoff", who made off with millions? You just can't make this up.
Always thought it was just a matter of time. We can figure out how to build cars on an automated line, a burger will be no issue. The irony would be if someone with a mechanical degree or electrical degree of some sort takes the manager's job because at least they can do on the spot maintenance.
I remember reading a scifi story back in the 80's; the hero temporarily hid out in the service bay in the back of a small fast-food chain that was completely automated. How ironic that it's become a reality, all thanks to SJW 'Luddites', economics, and the Law of Unintended Consequences...
