I think you'll simply see a redefining of the term "minority". Hispanics will be merged with whites (they're all European anyway). I never really understood how hispanics got to be a "minority".
Um, that only works if you group everyone else into "non-whites", which is ... well, at best ridiculous, at worst just plain racist. According to that chart, even in 2050 whites will still be the single largest group.
BTW, did you mean to link to the article you were talking about? If there's a link there, I'm not seeing it ....

and don't forget the little asterisks that says "includes mixed race".
I think it's ridiculous that someone who is half-black is expected to list themselves as black only.
The whole concept of REPORTING race in this country is a huge part of the problems that exist in race relations.
