I sure wish I could have heard this, because the topic is one of interest. There was so much road noise I could only pick out maybe one of every four words.
You must have a really crappy sound system. Heard everything clearly on my system. Time to upgrade.
Yes important topic. Aaron makes sense re: Media Bias... idealists who are too lazy to check the facts, work at their craft with integrity, or have lack of ethics so easily lose sight they are there to provide perspective from both sides, not color it to their bias. Ironically the Media entities that don't demand excellence and balance are failing, loosing money, irrelevant and so like The Theory of Evolution they will become extinct because they cannot adapt.
Hopefully all these extinct "Jouranlists" bones will be collected and studied to see if there was some defect in them so we can prevent it in future generations towards "True" journalists with integrity, work ethic and an inner monologue to mute their prejudices.

Cappy nailed it. J school attracts sloppy and lazy thinkers for the most part because it's a easy degree. Also you'll notice a lot of them come from upper middle-class type homes where the parents have enough income to support their brat's career choice, since being a reporter doesn't pay squat unless you're a top dog.
These two elements insure that journalism doesn't attract top tier intellectual talent.
Lastly since most print rags are controlled/run by hard core liberals, chances of a j-major with a conservative or take no prisoners muck-raking bent getting hired at say the LAT, NYT or BG are next to zero. At smaller papers under local control they can do better, regardless they all operate under a cloud of PC/MC censorship when it comes to reporting crimes committed by minorities or clerics of thugology.
I was a conservative/liberterian type that went to J School. It was eye-opening and my state school would have hardly been classified as leftist on a national scale, so I can only imagine how bad other places are.
Getting a degree in journalism was a huge mistake and I'm glad to be a blackjack dealer instead of working with the pigs in the media.

Sorry Aaron. Didn't notice the small notice in upper left corner saying was submitted. Oops.
You're blaming the media for having a liberal bias.
Yet your blog and your videos are extremely biassed towards fascism and wanting the "stupid" to suffer and wanting the liberals to die.
You're really not objective and in no position to lecture on bias.
All FCC-controlled media is leftist - especially Fox News and its fake Reagan-worshiping conservatism. It's all pro-government.
You've become way too casual with your podcasts, this is a mess. How about some professionalism?
I second anon at 08:51. Unless you can do something about the background noise, It' not a good venue to do a video.
