Boycott Citgo, DUH!

This was from NOVEMBER OF 2005. This is why I'm called the "captain." Additionally, I'd like to point out just what a traitorous slob Ted Kennedy is.

So JFK stands up to the communists during the Cuban Missile Crisis only to have his son (?) conspire with a communist for political gain.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/11/22/venezuela.us.fuel.ap/index.html

What's sad is the poor people of Boston are not going to see through this farse and think that Chavez and communism are great things. Little do they realize that Venezuelans have seen their standards of living decrease since Hugo came into power and the same would be in store for them if communism were enacted here.

I'll also bet two things;

1. Liberals and democrats will patronize Citgo as Hugo pulls off more and more attention-getting stints like this.
2. Conservatives and Republicans are so placated in their suburbia cookie cutter world, they're too stupid to boycott Citgo.

I don't understand the American fascination with the Kennedys. It's some kind of bizarre liberal hero-worship based on a whole bunch of myths. But this just goes to show that left-liberals are willing to be perfectly treasonous when it suits their ideology, just like they were back in the old days of the USSR. It really disgusts me.

The cowardice of our leaders in the face of such individuals, unwilling to be just a little bit harsh of their "colleagues," is perverse. God forbid that somebody might be offended!

You know as well as I do that it's even worse in universities. Originally, I did not support any of David Horowitz's attempts to clean out the insane leftist professors, but after experiencing it first hand (at a relatively moderate university), I have to say that I do support him now.

Quote of the day:
“Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale or undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.” – Abraham Lincoln

Rambling comment, yes. Sorry about that. It's just that all these events are interlinked.

Lincoln never said this. Ever. This quote is a fabrication of Dr. J. Michael Waller who first wrote it in 2003 shortly before the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth gave it life in 2004. How pathetic has the Republican Party become that it insults the reputation of America's finest Republican president for their political gain?

I have two original King & Baird pamphlets in my collection, the identical pamphlet Waller sites as his proof, "TRUTH FROM AN HONEST MAN". Lincoln never wrote anything like this ... here, or anywhere else.

And Handcuff is traveling the internet delivering the same canned message.

Not even original. The fact is, Lincoln LIVED the phrase which is why it's widely accepted and attributed to him. If I find where he actually said it, I'll make sure to broadcast it to the world.

Too many revisionist historians out there, and I'm sorry I don't accept Factcheck.org as the final say on everything.

It was created as a place for liberals who can't think for themselves to be fed socialist drivel.

It's real. Snopes had it. And if you're not "going to believe that" well then what can anybody do to convince you of anything.

I can't say enough good things about what Brooks Jackson did with my original TRUTH FROM AN HONEST MAN pamphlet I loaned him.

My great, great, grandfather, who I am named in honor of, made the supreme sacrific for our country in Lincoln's Union Army serving Stonewall Jackson his only defeat in the Civil War.

Diana Irey has "cut&run" from her use of this Lincoln quote. Write her "handler" at bill@irey.com and ask him.

Big Teddy K is JFK's brother, not his son. And you hit the nail on the head when you compared the two. Polar opposites. If JFK were alive today, he would have switched parties.

And yes, I have been boycotting CITGO for a while, now.

We all need to work together to make Chavez suffer the consequences of
his speech. No one should be able to walk onto American soil and
insult our Commander in Chief.

Please visit my website to read more about the Citgo boycott and
another organization who is coordinating efforts as well. Click here for more details.

I heard that the other oil companies buy their gas from Arab countries which use them to fund terrorism. The companies buy them indirectly from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and even Libya through third party distributors. 3% of US oil comes from Colombia, the most bloody violator of human rights in Latin America. Saudi Arabia, which has the biggest oil reserves in the world, gives its profits to the "royal family," which includes Bin Laden. What is the $50 million fund for the new martyrs I saw on Free Republic?

Is this worse than a Venezuelan president who conflicts with the Bush administration over globalization?

The corporations who move to Venezuela don't like it now that the government is regulating them to make them pay decent wages. And if Latin American countries paid people decent wages, Mexicans would not be pouring across the border, and jobs would not be pouring out of America. As I understand it, Chavez's main disagreement with the Bush administration is over globalization and sweatshops.

As you know, Venezuela's president is not the first to criticize Bush. Do readers extend their boycotts to French products? (perhaps) And there are some countries who would not joke that Bush is the devil- they believe it! And that is where the other oil companies are getting their oil from!

Buy oil from Citgo, whose president criticizes Bush, or from the Middle East and fund terrorism? The choice is yours.
