Ha. I saw that and immediately thought of all those libertarians who debated voting for gridlock. It was a very heated debate in some quarters. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Several months ago the WSJ published an interview with Milton Friedman that said something similar. Ideally you have a Democratic president and a Republican Congress.
