Hey go check Vox out: http://voxday.blogspot.com/search/label/banks He posts a chart that breaks down bank failures as a pct of total deposits. Good stuff. He's from Minneapolis originally, btw. And he has a recent book out called The Return of the Great Depression. I think y'all would get along great.
That Vox guy borders on being a white supremacist. Numerous posters (and probably himself, if I remember correctly) are against marrying other "races".
I failed to find any evidence of white supremacy or anti- miscegenation posts or links on that site. If you found some, please point them out. In fact, for some vague reason I can't explain, I think this guy is black.
I did find a prominent link to Black Gate which doesn't appear to be racial, but the first book recommended was My Sword and Soul Sister which is about an alternate reality for Africa where magic and spirits are real. It seems too flattering to be the work of a white supremacist.
He appears to heavily favor libertarianism and Austrian Economics.
He seems fanatically opposed to atheists but readily accepts pagan as well as Christian fantasy. He doesn't hide his devout Christian beliefs but has forbidden discussions of evolution and Creationism on posts not related to the topic.
8. Don't make assumptions about the regulars here based on my ideology and religious faith. They're not all Christians, much less Creationists. Most are not libertarians. A fair number are not Americans. And some don't even play computer games or read SF/F fiction. They do, however, tend to skew much more intelligent and broadly educated than you're probably accustomed to encountering. And I don't expect everyone to agree with me on everything, in fact, given my oft-stated belief that most people are idiots, it would greatly concern me if they did.

I love this quote from his rules:
