I really need to work on getting out of this messed up state, but family close by, property I probably couldn't sell, and a good job I enjoy are keeping me here.
So, in the meantime, I'm fighting all I can, blogging like crazy, and watching every shred of democratic republic governance evanesce. California is an oligarchy ruled by politicians in gerrymandered districts bought by big unions.
Not that I have any strong feelings on the subject.
My understanding is that some members of the assembly went to visit with businesses that have fled to Nevada and elsewhere and the owners cited high taxes and impossible regulations as their reasons for leaving. Gee, what a shock...

There's no winner here. California is pursuing federal grants to pay for the newly unemployed. They're still picking our pockets!
The last car from that assembly line is going to a museum in Japan.
When I'm rich, I plan to buy that car and display it as a monument to failure, selfishness, stupidity, and greed.
Watching the news and seeing all the people crying about losing their jobs and friends was excellent schadenfreude!
California deserves everything bad that happens to it, and more.
I could care less about CA, but am concerned with it's residence now moving elsewhere and bringing their cancerous liberal bullshit with them.
