"I think of when I was three, cuddling into my Granddad Murphy’s lap as
he stroked my hair and told me I was the best girl and I wonder did he
really think that, or did he secretly hate women too?"
No, no, they're perfectly happy individuals
(Warning about this "article," it's horribly written. It's just BAD.)

It's amazing to me that a girl that readily admits she can't handle packing her own suitcase thinks she's some kind of noteworthy champion for righteousness.
..."WHILE I was writing my debut novel, Only Ever Yours, I was determined to make the voice of the main character, a 16-year old girl, as authentic as possible. So I unearthed a pile of my teenage diaries from a dark corner in the attic"...

What more authentic a source could she have found (throughout the wide, wide world) than her teen self?
Arrogant, disconnected from reality, and quite possibly suffering from mental illness...
I can't believe that there are people out there who believe the things that this woman claims to believe. It's hard not to think that she is just joking, but I know that she isn't. My god, she can't even look back on childhood memories with fondness instead of trying to see evil everywhere.
I imagine that the generation of women who changed all the rules about how women were expected to behave had no idea that it would have an impact on the way men behave.
"Horribly written" doesn't even begin to describe it....I felt like I was peering into the mind of a schizophrenic. Perhaps that was the effect she was seeking (i.e. channeling James Joyce's Stream of Consciousness technique or something), but the writing actually made the article almost even un-skimmable.
It was too much blathering in her write-up. Maybe if she spoke it aloud, it'd be all right (I think Irish accents are super cute).
But she did write about feminists are not all angry here: http://www.irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/features/i-dislike-that-i-have-to-proclaim-repeatedly-that-no-i-dont-hate-all-men-and-no-i-dont-think-all-men-are-misogynists-391837.html
Somehow I doubt her profile photos do NOT look like reality...
"...feminists are not all angry..."
Yes, and not all snakes are poisonous/venomous, either.
BUT if you cannot tell the poisonous snakes from the non-poisonous, you would be wise to avoid ALL snakes. (No matter how much they say that they "are Not Like That".)
Anybody has the wonderful comment she wrote the piece to brag about (just a bit of banter)?
