Target Corporation Really Doesn't Care

I'll say it again for the cheap seats.  You rubes and suckers believing in Target's non-stop virtue signalling better take note, because all it is is marketing to them.  They just want your money.  And if push comes to shove, they'll screw you over as much as they can to save a buck.

While I hate Target and refuse to shop there because they decided that they had to put politics into their business, I also realize that it's getting harder and harder to control retail environments because people refuse to control themselves in public.

People have fistfights in stores now, they riot during Xmas shopping, and shoot up in public bathrooms. It's harder to keep up with the mayhem and it's only going to get worse. We've been removing legal and societal deterrents to bad behavior.

Um... couldn't she have just told her kid to drop it?

Oddly enough, I was at a Target yesterday (on vacation, only port in storm) when all of a sudden one of the cashiers starts yelling "NO! Don't do that! You'll hurt yourself!" at a 2-3 year old who had gotten into something under one of the cashier stations. Clueless parents about 30 feet away...

So, she's awarded 4.6 million for something that is arguably her own damn fault, yet she's "too overwhelmed" to talk about it.

I smell a rat.

Most people like to talk about their injuries and illnesses. They like the attention, the sympathy and the accolades about how "courageous" they are. At the very least, they like to talk about how they won their case after taking the evil corporation to the cleaners.

Yet, she doesn't want to talk about it. Why? Something else going on here? I suspect that there's more to this.
