Rantings and tirades of a frustrated economist.
France, the land of children.
Tch, most of that nonsense isn't needed. Seriously, the only thing needed to fix the problem is that the employers actually have a reason for firing the new workers. If they do that, there's nothing wrong left with the law.The whole reason that was the problem was because of the huge unemployment rate. Having a law that guaranteed you could fire a new worker without having to justify or explain any part of it, plus having some 20% - 40% of the target population unemployed, it's just begging for problems. But now that they have to have an actual reason for firing somebody (like "he / she is a lazy slob that doesn't do anything"), I don't see a problem anymore.Though, I'd rather the riots didn't stop. The thought of France imploding is a wonderful thought . . . though out of curiousity: after the 3 straight weeks of muslim riots over the two teens who were electrocuted while hiding from police, and after the more recent bouts of muslim riots (over the cartoons), AND after the 5 days of riots over this job law:...is there anything even LEFT to destroy in France?
