Gabe - ABA and Census Bureau, plus the immenent end of slow season.
Kilgs - Are they counting St. Tommy lawyers as a full lawyer? Like shouldn't it be 3 Tommy lawyers equals one real one? Espcially if they're Irish..oh, wait... ;P
This actually has nothing to do with lawyers, but I thought I'd put it here anyway. This is the solution to your marriage (or lack thereof)problem that you were whining about a year or so ago. Get a mail-order bride. Just make sure she knows you don't want children. Bring her here, send her to tech school for a year (or long enough to get some sort of certificate) so that she can earn enough to pay for whatever she might cost. Be nice to her, and send $50 to her family once every couple of monthes. This goes very far in developing countries, and even though the goal in not for her to be miserable (this is why you should be nice to her), as long as her family is receiving a little money, they will put pressure on her to stay with you. In addition, most girls from developing countries have very good cooking and cleaning skills, but, due to not having grown up in the same environment as Americans, are not so good at running errands, internet shopping, fixing bathrooms and stuff that a lot of wives here do. Good luck!!!
Anon- Not that desperate yet. But after seeing this 25 year old kid with a 23 year old drop dead gorgeous Romanian chick for a girlfriend in my class, I'm half tempted. That being said, I'd avoid those mail order bride scams. Best to fly over there, live there for a while.

How do you come up with this stuff?! ;-)
Says the man with the high-priced attorney... less attorneys means higher prices. And we wouldn't want that.
Even worse is that the national average hovers around 1 to 300 (lawyers to non-lawyers). In Minnesota, it's actually around 1 to 220.

Okay, but what's the CAUSE of this?

HA! FIXING BATHROOMS????
Good lord, where are you living in America?
When I work full time I call a plumber, when I'm a full time housewife, isn't that part of my job description?
Blame Perry Mason...... He convinced a whole generation of kids it's cool to be a lawyer and look what happened.
