He's 5'5" or 168 cm already!
Just an experiment I'm working with here aspiring economists. I noticed the most frequent hits I was getting was people google searching for Nicolas Sarkozy's height. "Height" and "Nicolas Sarkozy" were in a post of mine a while back, but nothing about his actually height.
So for all of you looking for his height he is;
5'5" or 168 cm.
In the meantime since I'm getting a lot of traffic to this one post BUY MY BOOK!!! DO IT NOW!!! It's much more interesting than President Sarkozy's height!

Thank you for that public service - very civic minded of you. Merci!
I'm lowering that guy's height: 5 feet 5 inches is 165.1 cm. (5 feet x 12 inches per foot, + 5 inches = 65 inches; 65 inches x 2.54 cm per inch = 165.1 cm)
I think there is a mistake : Sarkozy height is 1.73 m and not 1.65 m. Even better, I have seen him beside George W Bush and to be honest, their heads were on the same level (Bush height = 1.80 m). So as I don't contradict any news or image I see on the news, I conclude that Sarkozy measures 1.80 m (I suppose he must have shoe heals of about 0.15 m)
actually, jconsult, nicolas sarkozy is 1.65 meters, a tad less actually. The reason he looks about the same height as Bush is that he was standing on a booster. This was done for publicity purposes. I had been living in France for a few years and was still living there at the time of the elections. Sarkozy made a very clear point to play down is short height, and as such he insisted on having the booster so that he did not look short next to the president of the United States. It's something that worked because Americans, for the most part, are not aware of Sarkozy's height, just like the French don't care much about Bush's height.
Napoleon was actually 5'6" which was average height for his time. So Nicolas Sarkozy more accurately is a bit shorter than "Napolean" height.
Carla Bruni is 5'9. Makes for interesting bedroom scenes.
Kind of strange that Carla Bruni is 4 inches taller than he is. I live in New York City, and of all the couples I pass on the street, about 99.9999% of the men are taller than the women.
Funny how that rule (followed so closely that it might as well be a LAW) goes right out the window when money, celebrity and fame are involved.
raichle said "Makes for interesting bedroom scenes." Not really. Height differences are more significant when standing than when lying down.
I'm 5'6 and my girlfriend is 5'11, and when horizontal, that doesn't show too much...
It's nice to see Carla Bruni wearing flat shoes in order to be not too taller than her husband. It shows love.
ha! so funny, that's exactly what I searched for and you were the top hit! Thank you! Now, I'll move onto my next pointless fact search!
