Why in the world would a University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences even have an arts, humanities or social sciences department at all? None of that helps agriculture of applied sciences. Bah, whatever.
Relativism: The belief that it is both impossible and unethical to evaluate one culture by the norms, mores, and values of another. A dearly held tenet of the SJW movement.
William Shakespeare died in 1616, in England, pretty early on in the Colonial era.
Definitely a different culture. Relativism might perhaps apply??
Now, if they're discussing, perhaps from a deconstructionist standpoint, that "Shakespeare's plays are mostly casted with white guys (ummm... England... 17th century... Lot of white guys hanging around... ummmm...) and mostly viewed by wealthy, educated white people...
Well, they're stupid, and the consumer should remember that deconstructionist theory is, literally, "reversing the valuation to demonstrate that two opposed things are really the same." In other words, the pseudoscience of turning anything into anything else.
I feel really good right now. I got to use my liberal arts education to mock the liberal arts. Is that like deconstructing deconstruction????
Yes, this piece of garbage is probably SOMEBODY'S doctoral thesis.
SO GLAD I GOT KNOCKED UP AND DECIDED WE COULDN'T AFFORD GRAD SCHOOL!!!! FOUR KIDS-- WAAAAAAY COOLER THAN A GRADUATE DEGREE IN THE LIBERAL ARTS!!!!
I grew up in Western North Dakota. This is typical Peoples Republic of Fargo bullshit. The city views itself as the cultural center of North Dakota and overcompensates for being an overgrown farm town with bunk like this. It is a suburb of Minneapolis so shitty they put it 200 miles to the west as not to embarrass the Minnesotans. Oil prices have been down for so long all state agencies are having to cut their budgets by 3%. I think we have found where they can start cutting.
Because you have to have a certain amount of that garbage to be considered a University.
A University offers education across a wide variety of disciplines, including both sciences and liberal arts.
Otherwise, you're a College, or an Institute, or something else that might be just as good (or even better)...
...but you don't get the coveted University title that draws in the desired compliment of young, foolish people and the money from which they will be easily parted.

I dread to think what they will think of next.

Well, that's because you get higher crop yields if the workers and managers are more diverse.
CA3--

Shakespeare is rumored to be gay.
So would this make them homophobes?
