We could all take a lesson from Chik Fil A. They tried to bring the hammer down, CFA said "..." and that was the end of it. The enemies of freedom have less power than we think.
Theses articles are always interesting for what they don't say.
"This decision makes a complete mockery of Coles' claim to want to reduce plastic waste and is a betrayal of the millions of their customers who want the supermarket to do the right thing in favor of a vocal minority," - Greenpeace
Irony aside, it seems greenpeace (an unrelated third party) thinks it has the authority to speak on behalf of a company's customers. Sadly this is a trait common among leftists.
"Coles have caved in far too quickly."
...which of course implies that they always knew that Coles would cave in and that their "green" policies were not popular.
A Facebook friend of mine recently posted a pic of a little girl with a straw in her hand running from a cop and saying, "I need it for my soda." It'd be funny if it weren't true.
