Great video. However, I think the Swiss or German system would work best in the United States: Around the age of 14, kids are either set on a university track or a trade track, depending upon their abilities and willingness to receive more education. Those that wish to pursue a trade are allowed to and find an apprenticeship. Kids that have higher ability and willingness to learn can continue to go to school and try to get into a selective university which admits maybe 10 to 20% of applicants.
