For any of those interested, I put up a new web site to be the more or less the hub of my varied interests and activities. More info about your humble Captain in his personal life if you are curious.

Not to sure where else to leave this for you, however after a Conservative win here in Canada last night at our elections, they released the results of a 'mock vote' at the high schools.

Party explanation:
Conservatives: Mildly conservative socially, economically conservative.
Liberal: Mostly liberal socially, economically mildly liberal (the party the old guard of immigrants tended to vote for)
NDP: far left socially, far left economically (the union workers party, and new immigrants)
Greens: New party far left socially, farthere left economically (Environmental party)
My particular favorite quote which sums up the whole thing is:
In Toronto, 15-year-old Geoffrey Slemon's vote went to the NDP candidate in his school's riding, Marilyn Churley, but he couldn't quite say why.
This is why the left parties keep getting some power up here. Sheesh!
