This is the latest.  My buddy conveniently had a flight to the Bahamas.  I got to ride co-pilot:

Well yeah. Good feelings have been fueling our economy for twenty years now. We had a whole era of those back in the 1840s and '50s, and nothing bad happened after that was over.

I hyper-feminized countries latch onto a concept like linking feelings with GDP, the any man making any.woman feel.bad would be a negative GDP.contributer, punishable by jail.

The country of Bhutan has something called "Gross National Happiness" (GNH). Other countries should look into it.
