Wishful thinking. They honestly expect us to believe that Florida and the "Sun Belt" states are going to recover so soon? The excessive construction in FLA alone was simply beyond belief. I say late 2010-early 2011 at best. Even then it'll probably be the same-old same-old with underqualified buyers purchasing more house than they need/can afford. By 2014: wash, rinse, repeat 2008.
Seems like a pretty optimistic chart. The states expected to recover in this year have a combined population of over 89 million people, meaning that nearly 1/3 of America will be back to normal within a few months, if it isn't already.
I agree with 9ofD, not to mention the fact that the housing crunch really has not hit here in Alaska yet. Most things like this we tend to be 2-3 years behind. Prices are down about 10% from last year but they have a long way to go.
