Only two presidential elections? Bah!Bring back the old way: you want to vote, you better own some form of land (ie a home) in your own right - or be paying it off. At least then we know you're a (relatively) stable citizen whose working to build the country up, rather than a parasite holding out a hand for more freebies.
Thing is... there is no "right to vote" in a federal election. Don't try to tell THEM that, though.
