Thursday Night Linkage

Again, the government will marry your daughter.  Not the boy who knocked her up.

A pastor has his hand at becoming an economist and it doesn't turn out too shabby.  Wintery Knight really is the modern day incarnation of Nicholas Wolfwood.

You pursue your dreams at your own risk.  When they don't pay off because your dreams sucked, then don't blame society for not liking your sucky dreams.  Ensure your dreams don't suck.

Again, "The Economist" is not what it used to be.  It has sold out and become a media whore.

The Democrats always wanted to ass-rape blacks. Somebody tell the blacks if they can pull their lips from the Obamaphone Nipple.

Wintery Knight has really put some good stuff up lately.

My minimum wage proposal: eliminate the minimum wage entirely and don't require employers to report income that's less than, say, the current minimum wage. McDonalds and WalMart won't drop their wages and a host of $5 manual labor jobs will spring up overnight. And since it's not reported you get to keep all of it (but the business can't write it off, either, which is a feature not a bug).

I've got plenty of work out on my land for which I'd gladly pay $5 an hour - but not $12, plus bonds, plus insurance, plus unemployment tax...so I guess I'll just be greedy and keep my money.

Here is another reason The Economist is no longer relevant:
