Is There Anything Worse Than "Christian Rock?"

Yes, the upcoming movie called "Christian Mingle."

‘Christian Mingle’ is about a young, modern, single woman. She’s trying to achieve it all – a successful career, amazing friends and finding Mr. Right.  She stumbles into the world of online dating looking for an instant ‘soul mate solution,’ but ultimately ends up taking a personal journey transforming her life.'

Seriously guys, this is one of those instances where (after vomiting) you just sit back and enjoy the decline by enjoying others' misery.

Thankfully, due to the title, the film will not get widespread distribution.

Also, i doubt that the pastors who got their flock to swarm to a film about shaming a man in Mairrage (fireproof), can get the same crowd to turn out for a Rom Com. The crowd is just older than the Rom Com market.

I'd predict a bomb, but expectations are based on budgets, and I not know what the size of this ones budget is.

Man, I've begun to loathe those words "amazing" and "fabulous" modern females describe themselves with. She's always amaaaaaaaaaazing (despite latching onto a new cock every week) and her friends and her always lead faaaaaabulous lives (on someone else' tap of course).

Kanye West is worse than those things put together.

Sounds like a pointless SWPL chick flick. I think I read somewhere else she's a "marketing executive" in her 30's. Women in movies can just about only be cast in advertising or running a whimsical bakery.

I'm going to barf if churches start teaching classes and publishing study guides over it. Who wants to put money down that this will happen?

Just reading your italicized summary made me want to puke.

if you dont think there is no good christian rock, you have never listen to the newsboys, but then i also think the obscure band the throwing muses were one the best bands ever, so it may be my tastes that are off.

but i'm with you on the use of God for any purpose other than worship, respect and fear. Dating sites, church rituals(ie baptism), the properity gospel; that is not domrthing i think God would appreciate you using him for. Nabbing a woman thats comapatable with you is your job, not Gods.
