Why Retirement Planning for Millennials Won't Be ANYTHING Like the Baby Boomers

Since I am a late boomer (born in the peak birth year in NZ) there will be no dollars in ten odd years when I hit "retirement age". I know enough about workforce planning in my field (A doc, and yes, the doc post is accurate) to know the "real" retirement age is 70.

My parents still work and are in their late 70s/ early 80s.

I have no plans to reture, and I have a pension fund that will not fall over (University has been running it for 100 years): I will stop when Alzheimer's or the grave takes me.
