Drunk Tuesday Afternoon Linkage

Why I Hate the 60's (The truth is NOBODY liked them!)

Leslie gives me some love.

The fun you have with a shitty world reserve currency.

My favorite decade is the 1950's.

Operation Desert Rock, TU-95, B-52, Master Sergeant Stuart Queen hosting The Big Picture, Operation Giroscope, Nuclear jet Engines, Bomarc Missile, Nike Ajax, Nike Hercules, Nike Zeus, Chet Huntley, The Power of Decision, M-14 rifle, The Pentomic Division, IKE Eisenhower, Operation IVY, Operation Castle, The Aggressor Training Forces (precursor to opfor) etc.

The cars in the 1950's were truly awesome chromed and shaped pieces of art on wheel. 1950's music rocks. The Evenly Brothers, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, The Flying Banana helicopter, Sikorsky S-55 etc.

The War of The Worlds Movie (1953), a true masterpiece.

The 1950's were the USA at it's peak.

The only good thing about the sixties were the Saturday morning cartoons.
