Yes, effing brilliant. Nevermind that the body presumably must be no less deep than six feet. They show the 'eggs' up against the base of the roots. Maybe libtards will spread Bubonic plague to pair nicely with raw water el natural, since libtards would not be concerned about such real-life technical facts. Maybe conscientious synthetic players would be, but also maybe not. Got to adapt. Great find, Cappy. If the workplace won't take us, we must be creative.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just have your body buried beneath the young tree without either the coffin or the "pod"? I would think that that would make it easier for the tree to use the body for nutrients. Of course, that would mean that there was no need for the "pod" and therefore they could not charge you money for it...

Cap thank you for this. You see, I have 2 acres of land. One day I sat down and figured out how much space I needed to bury my enemies. I came up short, way short! So what was I to do?

This is a great find. My only disappointment is you did not provide a Amazon link :)

Yes and No. Hemp Coffins are what you want. They will last longer than the body so no problems with run off during thunder storms. The idiots in the video are gonna get the shit sued out of them.

I heard that an apple tree grew over the grave of Roger Williams. (founder of religious freedom in the U.S.) Years later, his body was dug up to be moved to a more fitting resting place. The story has it that it had been completely absorbed, and the roots had taken on a roughly human shape. The apples were allegedly delicious.

On the other hand, I am reminded of "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers".

Kind of reminds me of Mark Twain burying his aunt under his rose bush. He said she needed burying, and the bush needed fertilizing, lol...

How the hell is this a lie? Seriously, whats wrong with having a cemetery of trees? Much more uplifting than a tombstone (and you can do both). Sorry cap I dont see the problem.

They'd better hope that tree grows quickly. Otherwise, the "biodegradable material" in that pod is going to rot, collapse, and kill the tree underneath as the ground subsides. Oopsie. You see the same thing in old cemeteries where wood coffins were used, and the ground subsides over them as the body and coffin rot together. And if the water table rises, POP goes this nice light pod right out of the ground, together with the tree, just like in New Orleans. Plus, where does that "biodegradeable material" for the "pod" come from? Yes, it comes from plants that got cut down.

"Environmentalist" all too often means "person who never learned math or science, and never particularly cared for history, either."

I don't understand how this counts as lying. They are charging too much for a natural burial, but it's not a lie that not embalming is better for the environment.

I've long decided that I'm just going to be buried at sea. As a Marine vet, all I have to pay for is the transportation to the nearest Navy port, a flag, and a weighted body bag. About $500 total. But for you guys here on this comments thread that think that this 'pod' is unsanitary, you don't understand biology. And no, it doesn't have to be buried 6 feet deep on private property. And it isn't likely to cave in just because there is some air space left over in the pod. A wooden casket has a *lot* of unused volume for soil to collapse into, this 'pod' not so much. The only catch is that one could do exactly the same thing using a natural fiber body bag for much less money. Land should be for the living.
