A List I Need Help With

Here's what I got:

Myself
Roosh
Kate at SDA
Kathy Shailde

These are the names of bloggers who use their real names and are not anonymous.

Can you think of other pro-freedom, conservative, libertarian, manosphere bloggers that are also using their own names and are not anonymous.  It IS important because I just realized something.

Thanks,

Cpt.

Dude, how could you forget about me?

Athol Kay, I think. At the very least he's published under that name.

Are youse intimating that Lazlo J. Rumbear, III is not real? I has a birth certificate. Don't make me use it.

Glen Reynolds of Instapundit?
Danny of Danny from 504?

I'm not sure Roosh is Roosh's real name. He admits to using many different ones.

Hasn't Vox given out his name so that it is pretty much accessible to the public?

I'd be interesting to hear your realization.

Would Professor William L. Anderson of the Krugman in Wonderland blog count? He's a pro libertarian, Austrian school supporter whose blog I can't get enough of, even though I discovered it recently while going through some anarcho-capitalist and minarchist blogs.

This is a decision that I'm contemplating right now. Very hesitant about starting a blog with my real name because there are some very real risks with idiots who are easily offended. (look at all the hate roosh gets) Will be curious to hear your personal take on this.

Thanks

1. Kathy Shaidle, not Shailde.

2. Roosh is not his real name.

Vox Day's blog Vox Popoli but everyone knows his real name Theodore Beale and he doesn't try to hide it. Just google vox day and his name pops up

I'm not sure whether you'd classify him as being part of the Manosphere, but Prof Reynolds clearly falls into the other three categories.

I'm not 'out'. Although my first name is Mike i'm not totally ready to go completely commando just yet heh.

Private Man revealed his name a while back for a fundraiser. He doesn't use it regularly but it's available.

Tim @ spootville.blogspot

Our do you want my last name too?

Matt Forney (mattforney.com) makes a big deal about using his real name but he's more moderate on economics.

Ryu said...

Roosh isn't his real name. It is something else, though I know its out there somewhere; I saw it once.

It's nothing to be proud about. None of that list really push it. The sacred cows today are not feminism but race and religion. Go after that, then find out a thing or two.

Just went through my list and all I found was Doug Ross: http://directorblue.blogspot.com/

Although I don't use my real name, the IRS has audited me twice since I started selling the Commie Obama hats. So at least the important people know who I am...

When I talk to libertarians about men's rights they castigate me because I'm going to "scare away all the women".

There are exceptions, but not many. Maybe most of them aren't really pro-freedom.

Richard Nikoley at Free The Animal is more libertarian/anarcho-capitalist and a Paleo body hack blogger, but many of his posts deal with issues of decline. He recently announced that he is contemplating moving to a foreign country and looks forward to burning his U.S. passport upon arrival, and has said that there is no more America.

Laura Wood, the Thinking Housewife. Matt Forney has said he does not use a pseudonym.

I blog under my real name but I have not yet unleashed my political/social commentary mostly because the thoughts come to me during 3 a.m. feedings and by the time I wake up all the good ideas have been tucked back into the brain. They are afraid of daylight, I guess.

I have my first name up on my blog, but post under my pseudonym. It's just easier to have accounts under a pseudonym.

My real name is on my "about" page. I am not anonymous, but I have been opining under the handle Mutnodjmet for so long, I kept it. Don't know of that qualifies.

I don't understand why you would want to use your real name. A screen name will work just as well. Also, if you use your real name, that could come back to bite you in the ass in future. I guess it would be ok to use your real name, if your blog is really PC. Even then, no benefit is added.

Jokah Macpherson said...

Roosh is not Roosh's exact name but it is very similar and you can easily find the real one with a web search. I think the fact that his face is all over his blog makes him pretty much non-anonymous.

The Heartiste got outed by that crazy lady a few years back but I guess since he blogs more anonymously now he wouldn't count. Some people think it's a group blog now but I am skeptical.

Razib Khan of Gene Expression probably wouldn't qualify as part of the manosphere but he gets linked by a lot of bloggers I read and he more or less fits all the other criteria you list. Same for Greg Cochran and Randall Parker, who actually contributed in a Heartiste post a few years ago when it was Roissy.

Free Northerner said...

Matt Forney does.

Jack Donovan does.

Danny504 does.

Athol Kay does(although, he doesn't talk much of economics)

I think Laura Wood does (Thinking Housewife)

I think Virgil Kent does.

I think Chris Gale at Dark Brightness uses his real pic and name.

I think WF PRice at the Spearhead might.

Bill Powell at Apocalypse Cometh might use his real name, but I'm not sure.

A few of the gals at Traditional Christianity use their real pics and names.

The original Roissy doesn't use his real name but was outed at one point.

Chuck Ross at GLP and Fred Reed are somewhat manosphere allied and both use their real names.

Susan Walsh does, but she's more liberal.

Glenn Reynolds and Helen Smith do and are somewhat manosphere allied.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Hats off to anyone who blogs with their real name, but Ryu is right - the real kudos should go to those who blog on race and immigration using their real names.

It occurs to me that if you want to sell your books, you sort of have to blog under your real name. (you and Frank J come to mind). Otherwise how would you publicize your stuff?)

Also Jim Goad and Larry Auster.

"Also Jim Goad and Larry Auster."

Cappy asked for manosphere bloggers who use their real names. Wood and Auster are "traditionalists" which means they hate "game" and I would certainly not put them in the manosphere.
