Mt. Bierstadt, 14,065 Feet

Happy Day Lieutenants!  The ole Captain climbed his first 14,000 ft peak, Mt. Bierstadt.

Wimp. Do it when it's snow covered and you have to come back through the snow covering the legendary willows at the bottom.

It was my first 14er, too.

See any moose at the lake? I've done Bierstadt also, but it's easy to do when you live here. Good job, any 14'er is an accomplishment, especially when your not acclimated!

14K feet? Shit!! I would think that you would need oxygen at that altitude!
