Cap'n - You find this all the time with English professors teaching outside their field. I teach astronomy at a small college. My students came in discussing Al Gore's documentary. I asked them in what class they watched it. They replied English class. Horrifying, but that is the state of academia today.
Wow. I find this completely disgusting, considering my family actually lived it and saw people die back in Polska before escaping to America. My grandfather would be so ashamed if he were alive today. It's bad enough my father voted Obama.
