Tallie Dolye - Keep an Eye On Her

I predict, for some reason, you'll hear about her in the future.  And it won't be because she starts a new company, but rather is running for office or some other form of living off of the taxpayer.

It looks like her mom raised her on Lisa Loeb and the Indigo Girls. You can already see the glow of pseudo heroism in her eye. It's like a junkie's first hit of heroin. A lifetime of synthetic emotion and self-congratulation is to follow. Welcome to progressive thought young lady!

Of course her name is 'Tallie' not 'Sally' or 'Tanya' or 'Shelly'

The "My child will be different" school of naming by her wretched leftist parents. They're in the dead center of their unoriginal cliched demographic group but when it comes time to name their kid they blow away the paradigms all of a sudden. Name your kids normal names people! No more 'Carsons, Tanners, McKaylas' etc. Try 'Jack' 'Mike' 'Sally' 'Michelle' and get over yourself.

It's good to see young kids finally go out on a limb and take a stand on some of the substantive issues of the day. Nothing vapid for this young activist. Man the barricades!

If I had been in high school one year longer I'd have been in a situation not unlike hers; the administrators decided to issue and require that all students wear a dog collar, er, lanyard with a photo id issued by the school attached. Considering the rest of the nonsense I had to put up with being warehoused at that over-glorified concentration camp, I would like to think this would have been the straw that broke the camel's back. I'll never know.

If it wasn't for her wrapping herself in the banner of PC Girl Power!!! humbug, I'd agree with her completely. Unforunately, the picture spoke a thousand words, and her defiance is not of the type I'd have had throwing the lanyard back in the faces of my jailers, in that hypothetical situation that never happened.

"Girl Power!" is contemptible because it's cheap talk, putting on an act of "speaking truth to power" when in fact you're just going along with the cutting edge of the Inner Party.

So the school's policies are sexist because... all the boys are wearing spaghetti straps and she's not allowed to? Is this that "feminine logic" thing I keep hearing about?

Then she's going to complain about more male attention...

Either way it's a Morton's fork being presented here.

I see a career as either a activist or political hack for her, nothing in the private sector for a budding rabble rouser like this. She has it down pat. Focus on vapid, stupid issues that mean nothing but rally the support of fellow mouth breathers and lemmings who think dress codes are the end all be all.
