Teachers Who Mock the Trades

Arguably the most accurate assessment of public school teachers and their worthlessness to society ever:

One question about the Bakken Oil Fields:

The incomes look great but then I read about how much housing costs out there. You read stories about RV camps costing $1000 to $2000 a month - prices that approach places like NYC and DC. Roughing it does not look like an option in a place that gets that cold.

Is there a way to get around this so you don't have your salary wiped out by living costs that I do not know about? Do employers provide room and board?

I'm not trying to be mean. I just lost my job and getting pretty desperate. I just can't risk going somewhere like that to find out it all gets wiped out by rent.

You're a piece of shit Aaron, not all women could and should major in math.

If everybody majored in math then math degrees would be worthless as the market would be flooded with them.

It's a good thing that it is rigorous, because this limits the supply of math degrees for only those who are willing to bust their asses studying hard in the field and earning the degree.

Who's going to take care of the children ? Do you think somebody who majored in something difficult will then want to babysit children all day long ?

Who's going to pump your gas at the gas station if everybody majors in math ?

You're an economist aren't you ? Then you should know that thriving economies are diversified.

You are just using this math avoidance as a pretext to yet put down people and tell them they are worthless.

I don't see any constructive criticism in your videos. You are not calling to action and telling people they should strive for better.

You are just telling them that they are worthless.

This guilt and shame is not working.

You are still left with a bad hand and you still cannot exploit your full potential.

I suggest you study Brian Tracy and how he behaves himself in his youtube videos.

But then again, I'm starting to understand what you're doing.

Your audience loves to bash on a scapegoat of people to avoid looking at themselves in the mirror.

Your videos, entertaining mimicks, sarcastic mockery and insults is what's driving your people to your site.

You're the top con artist I've ever seen. Only you can get away with bullshit by accusing others of getting away with bullshit.

Okay, I get it now, you're an entertainer and that's how you keep and expand your audience to sell your books and your sponsor's stuff.

If you were really serious about wanting other people to take the hard path, you would look and sound like Brian Tracy.

But that's not what you want to do. You want to entertain your crowd to keep them on edge wanting more and why not buy some books and stuff while they are at it.

Instead of making posts about super villains, criminals and tall domineering men, you should put a post about Brian Tracy, he is a self-made millionnaire.

He was more effective on me with his no-nonsense straight-to-the-point logic than you are with your shame and guilt and put downs.

Brian Tracy ALL THE WAY !!!

As a teacher (not in the USA), I actually LIKE hearing opinions like yours about teachers and the profession, even if I don't always agree with them. It's definitely a motivation for me to "step up my game" as you call it. Besides, if teachers are so sure that they're right they should just ignore you or offer rebuttals to you, right?

As for your comment about "teaching in China"...I'll just say that the ESL gig has some horrendously awful teachers in possession of every degree you can imagine.

Anon 4:01 PM:

OK then. I have just crossed Br**n Tr*cy off my reading list.

I will never spend a dime on his works.

Thanx for the warning that only nutters read his stuff!

( if you respond to nutbag, be sure to munge his idol's name so it doesn't get google hits )

I used to look back at my time in school and think it was full of a lot of great times. But then I realized that it all involved hanging out with my friends. It was not actually school that I enjoyed, but hanging out with my friends at school.

"Who's going to pump your gas at the gas station if everybody majors in math ?"

Why would anybody major in anything to pump gas at a gas station? You recommend a better degree for that? Maybe a PhD?

I disagree Captain. I've been following your blog and I even read one of your books but I think your video about teachers is just hyperbolic. There's an aspect of baby sitting to teaching, no doubt about it...I mean you are dealing with kids, but to say that's all teachers do is just plain stupid.
Without GOOD teachers no one can become a doctor, engineer, nurse or even plumber. Most parents DONT teach basic writing and math to their children. Most of them DONT teach them grammar, nor basic science either. There is a difference between public vs private education, because you are paying for the latter, but to say teachers are plain baby sitters is just really moronic, coming from someone with a supposed higher education.
Sorry Captain but this video has totally changed my opinion of your ideology and credibility for the worse.
