Rantings and tirades of a frustrated economist.
Well Cap - if gubbermint is the competition there are two ways to look at it:a. If you can't compete with welfare maybe you deserve to loseb. If gubbermint/welfare is a serious contender for this woman...is that a competition you really want to win?Old world values show us the way, as usual. "If you won't marry it, you probably shouldn't f**k it."
I recently re-read Calhoun Mouse Utopia studies, it's amazing to me when we consider rather than overpopulation being the space taking stressor it is an overreaching government that is eliminating the social roles of men and invading male spaces. There is no way to maintain our social strategy in the face of an all powerful government and no reason to remain engaged in productive behavior now that the social contract has been ruptured. Now we wait for the "die-off" phase.
I've always contested this notion of "superior genes." Attractiveness is not a function of survival, but only of reproduction.
