I'm sitting on a chunck of change, in the form of cash and bullion, which would otherwise be in the stock market if our leaders weren't busy running the country into the ground. The only money I have in the 'market' is money I foolishly invested in a 401k, about 5k, and my 'gambling money' which amounts to 30 bucks a paycheck due to company matching.

When I was younger I put a lot of money into my 401k which I've now rolled over into an IRA. An IRA that I will probably be draining to pay for my schooling (If my five year plan works out and I'm accepted into an advanced practice nursing school).

I'll probably put money into my company's retirement plan simply because they match, but that is it.
