"Heaven, I'm in Heaven."

Open this in separate window and read the article below whilst listening to the music.

Article.

Is it wrong for me to be taking such joy in the collapse?

To quote Jason Lewis "You give me 6 months and I'll have us out of this recession."

Of course, nobody wants to take the medicine those evil free marketer economists recommend. They just want to pop the Obama-socialism pill and "POOF!" the recession will end!

Oh, you people have no idea how much emergency invasive surgery the economy needs.

And what's beautiful is you think there's some kind of "option" or "choice" in the matter.

I don't really feel like I'm in heaven. I notice the economic corrections with satisfaction but I also cannot help but think about the incredible stupidity of the majority of society that is responsible for those millions of unemployed people, many of them may actually have lived within their financial means.

It's like war. Innocent people get killed, too.

"A bit of positive economic news came from the Federal Reserve, which reported that consumer borrowing increased at an annual rate of $1.76 billion in the first month of the year. Still, the small rise is unlikely to shake economists' views that borrowing will remain weak this year as fearful consumers tighten their belts. "

Borrowing is up because they're not getting paychecks anymore.

Yeah, that's real great news, idiots.

Watching the US Economy is like watching a critical MRSA Patient die.

We pile hope on hope for each measure of toxic antibiotics to work their magic. We know that each antibiotic will cause a different catastrophic results. We cut off fingers, toes, arms and legs all the while we know the organs that support life are dying.

In the end, the only the brain is left. We medicate it so that it does not know what we did to its fragile host. In the end it dies like the rest of the body.

They are not trying to introduce socialism, they are successfully implementing fascism.

The Obama administration is doing exactly what the government shouldn't do in a severe recession. And yes, it is fascism. I'd like to see Obama and his minions among the unemployed.

It appears to me that all this bailout and spending business is merely delaying the inevitable collapse and would also delay and reduce the strength of the recovery.

Captain - would you explain in a future post what would likely happen if the government would leave everything alone and let the inevitable crash occur?
