Rantings and tirades of a frustrated economist.
Geez that face has Cat Lady written all over it.
Obviously no shot of being able to comment on that article, I can't find comments at all on there. Really it's just classic leftism. Create problem with diluted employee wages (due to worker surplus, aka too much two partner work relationships) and bad regulations (min wage, day care laws), solve said problem with more leftism. Of course none of these people care. They'd get their goodies and be out of dodge once the single white men who pay for everything take off.
Screw them all. I pushed my wife to stop working and become a stay-at-home mom, despite the cost. And it's worked out very well. My son is 14, and my wife went back to school through a certificate program to prepare to re-enter the workforce. My kid's better adjusted than his peers and despite being in a merit-based charter school for brighter kids, he's one of the few who comes from an intact family, giving him a further leg up. If a man is so weak that he can't convince his wife to do the right thing and see to her children's well-being and upbringing in the most critical years, he gets what he deserves- a kid with less connection to family and reduced parental influence in his/her development. Let strangers raise your kid? Jesus wept.
Holy fuck on a stick! Upper class liberals in the shitlib hive of Toronto would rather pay $2,000 a month to send little Brayden, Cayden and Ayden to some hoity-toity "preschool academy" (what do they get there? A degree in block-stacking with a minor in paste-eating?) than move to a reasonably-priced part of the country, stay home and spend time with their young children. If you want to send your kid to the Ivies, you got to get them on the College Track as soon as possible! Gotta cram their lives full of structured activities so they don't spend any time thinking about what pieces of shit you are for abandoning them! Wah Wah Wah! Rich people are forced to foot the bill for everything! Only poor people can afford daycare now! Well, GOSHDURN it, who voted for all of dem programs, eh? Where did you think the government was going to get the money from, thin air? Idiots. The voting in of Justine Trudeau as Prime Minister is starting to make a lot more sense now.
One would succeed in teaching a monkey to do calculus than to teach finance and labor economics to a liberal. When government legally forces a company to pay their employees more as in raising the minimum wage, the company is going to have to do one of the following:1) Pass that expense on to their customers by charging them extra.2) Cut labor expenses and risk fewer employees to be able to service customers.3) Or a combination of both.Did these fools who voted for the hike in minimum wage think their local daycare was going to bend over and take it up the ass? When government forces added expenses, they have to find a way to generate income in order to cover the added cost. In this case they increase how much they charge for their daycare services. At no point in this article did anyone suggest that one parent either drop out of the workforce and stay home with the kids or at least find a job that enabled them to work from home so they don't have to shell out $2,300/month for daycare. What good is it for both parents to work if one of their paychecks is going to be going towards daycare? You know good and damn well the feminist bitch who wrote this article isn't going to dare to suggest mom become a housewife out of financial necessity. She is supposed to slave away at a job so most, if not all her earnings can be forked over to government and the daycare. Then again, if mom is the bigger breadwinner, then dad can stay at home with the kids. Heavens forbid we go back to the old days where one parent stayed home and raise good healthy children. I thought leftists are for the children?
My heart breaketh not for such parasites.
Someone has to pay somewhere. Anyway, I'm happy to CA go down the toilet. I wish we could keep the left wing trash back in CA.http://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article195405279.htmlLiberals are stingy a-holes? Who would have thunk?“People with higher incomes pay a lot more money, and some of them may be tempted to leave,” Gov. Jerry Brown said when he unveiled his 2018-19 budget proposal last week. “This was an assault by the Republicans in Congress against California.”==========================================================Joseph Vranich, who leads an Orange County business that advises people on where to locate their businesses, called the tax law “one more nail in the coffin” that would cause small- and middle-size entrepreneurs to leave California.Often, he said, high income taxes, high gas taxes and strict environmental regulations lead his clients to choose other states. “When you add it all together, I call it death by a thousand cuts, and this latest law is one more cut,” he said.
