I will lay the exact same criticism upon the Young Republicans and Young Democrats clubs.
All they're doing is taking ignorant, brainwashable idiots and turning them into drones.
When you're in high school you should be trying to figure out how to ask out Amy Sue for prom.

I went to a college Republicans meeting once. They had free pizza.
I was amazed that there was absolutely no discussion of whether their policies were ideal or even what those policies were in the first place; it was just "get organized and go plant posters for Republican candidates".
I never went to another one of their meetings, even when they had free pizza.
It is interesting that the students claim that their socialist club is not a communist club. The only difference between the two is that the socialist continue to rape capitalist for funding. Whereas the Communists have completely destroyed the capitalist sector and are cruising on the printing press for rapidly devaluing currency and selling whatever they have in the way of resources to what ever capitalist country is willing to buy it.
I find it quite disheartening that after all the recent examples of the complete failure of both systems, seemingly bright students continue to miss that point.
What can I say other than just shoot them before they grow up and cause a lot of trouble for the rest of us.
Bah, the only club that appeals to me at my school is knitting (mainly because of the simplicity). Because the rest are hippie environmentalist clubs. There are posters for the Earth club around campus noting that the Earth will be soon warmer than it was 10,000 years ago. THE ICE AGE WAS 10,000 YEARS AGO! I swear communist hippies have infiltrated the ranks of our institutions and have begun to subvert society as we know it!
