Fun Times Guarding Saudi Princes

I can't think of a more deserving group of people than Saudi princes to get robbed for a quarter million.  However, this story made me realize something.

Most of those Saudi royalty people are grade A, arrogant, aloof, assholes.  They believe you are inferior to them and they have absolutely no appreciation for their wealth, their luck and their fortune.  They also are more than willing to play mind games, using Islam as a means to make your job of protecting them harder just for entertainment:

No men guards can watch over our women
Do not look at our women
No booze on the floor we stay on, even if it's other people that have nothing to do with our party
We need Muslim compliant food, fetch us some.
Etc.

Thus, while at the time I thought it was pretty cool to be providing security from one of the Saudi princes, in truth I was just putting myself in danger for a professional hit like this.  No job, no money, and certainly no Saudi royalty is worth being in harm's way.

So for any young men out there across the world who are approached with the opportunity to play security guard to a Saudi prince, yes the pay might be good, but you're likely putting yourself in a situation where you might have to fire a gun (and suffer the legal consequences) of protecting what amounts to nothing more than one of the biggest douches in the world.

Let the spoiled brat Saudi princes protect themselves.

Celibate Boyfriend = Celebate Husband

It's always fun to watch Christian women date.

Book Review - The Great Deformation

The Great Deformation, by David Stockman of Reagan admin fame, is a detailed and precise account of how (among other things) socialism, central banking, monetary policy, and corruption in the financial service sector has so warped and distorted the pricing mechanism of the financial markets that it has ultimately impaired and crippled the free market from functioning properly.  Lacking this VITAL economic tool, the economy has since mal-invested in many bubbles resulting in a stagnation of our economy and no real economic growth, as well as no real hope for the future.

Ironically, those two lengthy sentences also epitomize the book because it is both lengthy and (unless you're an economist) doesn't make a lot of sense to the average person - thus the tragic and paradoxical nature of this otherwise excellent book.

There is absolutely NO DOUBT as to the quality, precision and workmanship Mr. Stockman put into this book.  His ability to explain precisely what was going on, who was responsible for it (the financial crisis), as well as his masterful use of the English language to explain it, is unrivaled.  The problem is that this brilliant piece of work has no obvious audience.

If you are an average person trying to understand the financial problems of the US and western civilization in general, this IS the book for you to read.  The problem is that it's written at such a high level of "economicness" you won't understand half of it and would have to commit to further educating yourself about economics that it would take a SOLID two months of DEDICATED self-education in the field.

Ironically, if you ARE educated in the field, and managed to be one of the few economists with his head out of his ass and Keynes' dick out of your mouth, you will certainly understand it, but it will be nothing new to you.  Mayhaps some details or observations you didn't know about (there are plenty in the book), but again, if you have the slightest bit of intellectual honesty and a drop of Austrian economic blood in your veins you will be fully aware of Mr. Stockman's points and positions.

Thus the tragedy about Mr. Stockman's book.

I would love to recommend it to beginners in economics as it is the veritable bible and account of what caused our current financial woes.  But it would be speaking in tongues to them.

And I would strongly recommend it to my economic colleagues...it's just they already know what Mr. Stockman wrote.

The true value of this book is sadly what many of us do so on a day to day basis:

Writing for posterity.

If there is a "primary" reason to own this book it is because it is a brilliant and detailed account and accord of what PRECISELY happened during the build up to, and the consequences of, the financial crisis and future crises that are about to happen.  It is not a novel to be consumed and then discussed at an intellectual light-weight "book club" in the suburbs sipping on $7 cup of Joe's at Starbucks pining when your sugar daddy husband is going to buy you another Range Rover, but rather a reference guide to consult when having serious discussions, and certainly policy issues if saner heads are ever elected into office.  In short, it is as if you took "50 Shades of Grey" and multiplied it by -1.

Not very exciting, but infinitely practical and helpful to society if they ever cared to give it two shits about it.

Thankfully, Mr. Stockman has a very good outline where, though titled eccentrically, chapters are labelled (more or less) categorically allowing you to consult topics specific to your interests/needs.  I would NOT recommend anybody read it cover to cover (which I did effectively while driving to Seattle and back via audio book), but instead purchase it and use it as a reference book for any point in time where discussion or debate requires an authoritative source as to the causes and consequences of the country's current finances.

You can find Mr. Stockman's book here and his other literary works here.

The Epitome of Leftist Bias in Journalism

Every once in a while you get a photo or a picture that embodies EVERYTHING wrong with an entity, an ideology, a group, or a movement, etc.

This is one of those pictures which shows the:

ignorance
stupidity
bias
political agenda
crusaderism
and
narcissism

of modern day leftist journalists.

Thank you Ryan J. Reilly, you epitomize everything that's wrong with modern day journalism and ensure us bloggers are the real 4th Branch of Government.

A Political Analysis of ISIS

I think it sums it up actually quite nicely and accurately:

Two 20 Something Western Crusaders Get Their Comeuppance

I love it when "multiculturalism" and "social Marxism" eat their own.

But you know, never listen to that stale, old, boring Euro-centric wisdom that managed to create everything good in this world.  No, no, go on your crusade so you feel good about yourself and how open-minded you are.

Rural Revoltion

"Declaring a worthless major is simply shouting out to the world, 'I’m a parasite and have no intentions of working for a living. I want to do what I want to do and I want the rest of you to pay for it. I ultimately want to produce nothing society wants, but in return I demand other people slave away to make me MP3 players, computers, video games, as well as engineer hybrid cars and whatever else I want. I also want society to create some make-work job for me so my ego isn’t bruised and I can make-believe I’m a real-world-live adult too. And if you dare point out what I’m doing in the real world is nothing more than parasiting off of others, I’ll cowardly hide myself behind some altruistic crusade and accuse you of being a racist, a misogynist, or a hater of children.'"

Rural Revolution was kind enough to do a review.  She is also now on the blog roll.

Tasing Fat People at the Minnesota State Fair Episode

In this episode of The Clarey Podcast Aaron is in Seattle where he and his friend discuss;

Post post - Davis Aurini found out the meaning behind the lyrics to "Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs"

When Robots Replaced Liberal Arts Majors

If you really want to be on the cutting edge of economic thought, the concept of robots making human labor obsolete is the place to be.

This does not really threaten people who are willing to expend the calories of energy to learn skills and trades that either cannot be replaced by robots or that are in the fields of developing, building, maintaining and programming said robots.

But if you're a talentless "liberal arts" major working as a barrista

or

An idiotic customer service worker in Seattle who thought the minimum wage of $15 was a great idea

you may want to rethink you're grand strategy of just "forcing" employers to pay you more when your lack of genuine skills can be automated at a fraction of the cost.

But, you know, hey, you go and "major in what your heart tells you" and see how well that poppycock strategy developed in the 50's works for you.  The rest of us will be preparing for the 2020's.

Why Most People Just Can't "Go Galt"

I was listening to The Black Brigade's latest podcast whilst hiking Trapper Peak.  And among their topics de jour was the recurring theme of "going Galt."  This particular instance however, was prompted by local radio show host Jason Lewis walking off the job claiming he had had enough and was no longer going to serve as a host to what is nothing more than the parasites of society.

They applauded his decision, as do I, but they then went onto ask the question, "Why don't more talk radio hosts" or "leaders" in the conservative/libertarian movement provide a how to, or actually go Galt themselves?  Matter of fact, why don't just 10% of conservatives, libertarians or as I like to call them "Real Americans" go Galt, crashing this entire corrupt system?

Well, lieutenants and economists, I already had the answer before I made it back to the trail head.

Understand that the number one thing preventing conservatives and libertarians from going Galt and "starving the beast" is that they are saddled with debt.  This may at first sound odd that conservatives and libertarians would have such finances, but consider the fact that most people incur debt when they are younger

which consequently means

made those decisions to incur debt when they were statistically likely to be more liberal

and you can see why even "savvy" conservative/libertarian types just can't "go Galt."

If you look at the decisions that result in life's major debts, they are typically made during their "dumbass 20 something leftists phase" ie - before one turns 30.

Student loans
Credit card/consumer spending
Car loans, and of course the biggest ball and chain of them all
Mortgages

This results in an irony, if not a fiscal tragedy, where future and theoretical "Galtists" who would love nothing more than to go Galt, can't, simply because they are saddled with too much debt FORCING them to remain in the work force till their debts are paid and their mortgage gone.  You add in marriage and children, and your average male "Galtist" can only wistfully pine about going Galt just as much as he can "buying a motorcycle and heading to Sturgis without permission."

The result is a phenomenon the Manosphere calls the "Wage Mule" or "Debt Slave."  Stupid decisions made in the past condemn the rest of your life to severely limited choices and potential, effectively ruining your life, and certainly making lofty, idealistic political maneuvers such as "going Galt" an impossibility.

There is however, good news.

While Gen X may have been the last generation to partially swallow the

"House
College
Wife
Kids"

propaganda, Gen Y/the Millenials didn't.  Additionally, a good percentage of Gen X also postponed marriage, or avoided it all together.  In other words, Americans, despite their horrendous stupidity, are actually starting to learn from their predecessors, and with the breaking of the social contract between men and women and default and unconscious "going Galt" is already occurring.

Men just aren't proposing as much as they used to and if they do, they wait till they're well into their 30's to do so.  Also, unless you're an illegal immigrant or are too stupid to do basic division and understand the concept of income per capita, people are having less kids.  Thirdly, the economy is so poor, an entire generation has had the forced lesson of minimalism forced on them.  And finally, if you look at labor force participation rates, people are wising up (even feminist-fed women) and realizing that yes, work indeed sucks. In other words, society is slowly "going Galt" as they respond to the perverse and country-destroying policies socialists have enacted upon society.  This may not be the "rapid" "starve the beast TODAY" sort of strategy idealistic Galtists want, but it is to show them that what they wish for is already happening naturally.  Perhaps not at the pace they wanted, but it is happening and it cannot be stopped.

The real issue, however, is one of hope.  Galtists (theoretical or not) deep down inside want to starve the beast TODAY with the hopes that a new society would emerge from the ashes so quickly that they would be able to participate and enjoy said new society during their lifetime.  The problem is that society is too glacial, America too entrenched economically and globally, and our citizenry too fat, stupid and endebted that this will never happen.  Most people alive today will die watching a declining America, not a phoenix from the ashes.  It will be future generations that will witness a reality-forced destruction of socialist America, and a resurrection, if there ever is one.

"Tampon Journalism" of The Guardian

The REAL story here is not the click bait of a hopeless dependent and childish feminist who demands tampons be made free for all women.

It's that The Guardian would even consider publishing such pointless trash, which belies just how obsolete the MSM has become.

Seattle to Billings

Howdy Lieutenants!

Made a rocket run from Seattle to Billings, Montana, and after sleeping in, I shall head out and hunt down some moss agates as well as fossils in SE Montana.

In the meantime wanted to share a couple pictures with you all.  One is a picture of a bridge in Washington.  I thought the state of Washington was all trees and mountains, but instead it's truthfully mostly prairie and desert, interrupted with the occasional Columbia river or random lake.  Also included is a picture of Lake Coeure d' Alene (which I only drove past during night and never had time during the day to swim in, which I did) and the bar in Kellogg, Idaho where my "Staph Infected Hippie Chick" story was from, that is now closed.

Why You Must Suffer

and put up with yet another horrifying, painful picture of the most recent Book Babe.

"Behind the Housing Crash" was written quite some time ago, and though sales have obviously dwindled, for some reason I think there may be a slight resurgence.

Met up with a fan Leif from Seattle who drove a Royal Enfield motorcycle.  The motorcycle is about 4 times older than he is, but he still allowed me to sit on it.

An Economist Explains Russia's Sanctions

Jerry Robinson is an economist who I reference frequently because he is one of the economists I keep learning from AND he's younger than me.  Saw this while loading up the ole podcast in anticipation of my road trip and thought many of you would enjoy it as well.

My apologies for the fewer amounts of posts during the summer, but I am trying to enjoy summer while it's here and avail myself of the excellent weather.  Normal blogging will return to a more normal level in late August.  In the meantime I strongly suggest you also enjoy the summer and not read up too much on economics, politics, etc., during these waning days of summer.

Oh, the Irony

And just 5 years ago Kirchner and Obama were best of buds.

New Sponsor - Talon Bottle Opener

Greetings All!

We have a new sponsor.   A reader is raising funds via Kick Starter for his own little entrepreneurial venture.  Looking to raise a modest amount of $2,500 so he can manufacture and sell the "Talon Bottle Opener" which serves as a bottle opener, but also as this kind of Swiss Army knife sort of thing that organizes keys, making key chains unnecessary.  Getting my copy in the mail and will do a review later, but in the meantime if you want to help a fellow entrepreneur out consider going to his Kickstarter page and tossing the guy a couple bucks.

Thanks for your readership and support,

Road Tripping to Seattle

In my life mission to enjoy the decline and pursue leisure over labor, I will be road tripping it to Seattle.  No real route is planned and no itinerary set but if you are in the Dakotas/Montana/Wyoming, Idaho/Washington area I may be coming through and more than happy to grab a beer or a coffee or shoot guns.  Will be leaving tomorrow morning so give a shout out here if you're around.  I do know I am VERY likely to be staying in Missoula, MT and hiking Trapper's Peak near Darby, MT.   Then off to Seattle, return trip is eehhhhhh...TBD.

Anyway, let the ole Captain know if you're around.

More Proof Americans Don't Understand Business

and consequently don't deserve the republic, let alone can be trusted with a democracy.

OK, I'll give you the abbreviated version of this.

A restaurant in Stillwater, MN puts  a "surcharge" listed as "minimum wage tax" to cover the recently increased minimum wage.

Now you,
me,
and anybody with half a f*cking brain knows that this is merely a play on words

That no matter how they break down the bill ALL OF THE EXPENSES HAVE TO BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER!

It's always been that way.
It will always be that way.
And if it stops being that way, then the company goes bankrupt because it's NO LONGER PROFITABLE.

But oh no.  That's too complicated for the "brilliant" American people.

No, read the comments and take in the galactical stupidity of some of our brothers and sisters.

Cripes, I need a book babe to lower my blood pressure.

Stupid People Lending Money to Stupid People

Again, how dumb are you to lend to Argentina?

The Problem With Wisdom

Sadly, all of us “older, wiser men” have to admit we have no way to “force” you to accept and incorporate our wisdom. We cannot guarantee that had you pursued that career in music therapy you would NOT have become successful. We cannot guarantee that had you tried to get into investment banking you would NOT have become a millionaire. And we cannot guarantee that had you tried to become a basketball star you would not have become the next LeBron James. But if we were to switch it, focusing instead on the risks and consequences of you FAILING, rather than what idealistically “may have been,” perhaps these severe costs will make you heed our words.

Yeah, It's Like "Swingers"

Had the honor of meeting Average Married Dad and this was the results.  And yes, it is kind of like the movie "Swingers."

He has a book out which I will review later.

Why Keynesianism Is Immoral

A recent intellectual epiphany I had was that to debunk religion one cannot look "forward," but rather "backward."  What this means is that if you are going to try to debunk a religion (or philosophy or ideology, etc.) you cannot further argue within the context of that religion (philosophy, ideology, etc.).  You merely abide by the rules laid out by said religion and in doing so get into semantical arguments that never resolve anything.

No, one must go BACKWARDS and ask basic elementary questions about the entire religion (ideology, philosophy, etc.) itself, challenging the PREMISES by which the entire religion is founded upon.  And once those premises are proven to be false or at least unfounded or immoral, then the entire belief system itself can be called into question, if not, completely debunked.

And I believe Keynesianism is one such ripe candidate.

Let us say that Paul Krugman is 100% correct.
Barack Obama is 100% correct.
Janet Yellen is 100% correct.
And John Maynard Keynes himself was 100% correct.

My question is simply - so what?

And the reason my question, in spite of them all being theoretically 100% completely correct, is "so what" has nothing to do with being right or the efficacy of their policies.  It has to do with whether their actions, claims, or demands upon an economy are moral.  What right do they have to demand such behavior from other individuals?

Take smoking for example.

Right now private property rights are being violated across the globe because some people believe that just because they're right, their "rightness" trumps people's individual liberty and choice.  Thus, now, even though people "own" their property in the form of bars and restaurants, those people have no rights as to whether or not to allow smoking, not to mention smokers who would like to smoke on private property where it would have otherwise been allowed.

Does smoking cause cancer?

Absolutely yes.

Should you not smoke?

Absolutely yes.

Are the anti-smoking Nazi's right?

100% right.

Still does not give them the right to tell other people what to do with their bodies.

And it is here that is the core to Keynesianism's immorality - they deny people's right to self-determination.

Let us be clear what Keynesianism is.

It is the belief that the government has the right to intervene in the economy (read- individuals' lives) to "make things better."

Noble or not
Honorable or not
RIGHT or not

that one belief transgresses the individual and makes Keynesianism a true evil in that it violates people's individual choice, individual freedoms, and individual decisions.  It forces the will of a few government bureaucrats and politicians on the masses because "they know better."  It dares to suggest some people know what's best for you AND GRANTS THEM THE AUTHORITY to intervene.

The problems and threats with such an economic religion (and that's what it is) are obvious to anybody with half a brain and an ounce of intellectual honesty.

1.  In the Keynesian World nobody learns from their mistakes.

Spit out more kids that you can afford?
Lend to douchebag cronies who are connected to the banking system?
Major in stupid ass liberal arts suburbanite chicky girl studies?

Never fear!  Government bailouts are here!

Understand that with a philosophy of Keynesianism any mal-investment that results in a crash or a recession is "magically" undone by merely pumping more money into the economy or (more the more vote-getting solution) bailing out people from their spectacular mistakes.  This means that nobody can fail, and in nobody failing, nobody learns from their mistakes.  The consequences are disastrous as amply displayed by the black community.  The "hot stove" in the form of "illegitimate children" is never seared in pain with the bearing the full costs of rearing one's own child.  Keynesian bailouts merely moot the pain, denying 70% of the black population a much needed lesson in profitability, finance and survivability, and sadly condemning them to a life of poverty.   And before you get all pissy and set your phasers to "accuse of racism" it's functionally no different than the denizens of lily white bankers who got bailed out just the same.

2.  Keynesianism Is Too Easily Abused By Politicians

Hmmm....let's think this one through.

"Unlimited government spending"

WITH

"the power to bail out people for their mistakes"

COMBINED WITH

"a democracy."

Oh, no.  No potential for amoral politicians to abuse this economic philosophy by

1.  Spending money till the cow come home to
2.  Bail out and thus bribe the idiot classes of society to vote for them because
3.  In a democracy every person, welfare queen or not gets the vote

No, no politician would EVER sacrifice the future integrity of the country's finances and economy to win votes now at the expense of a mortgaged future. No, would never happen.

And finally...

3.  They're Completely Wrong Anyway

I'd like to say the Keynesians were right, but truthfully that was just a handicap I gave to what is nothing more than the biggest frauds, shysters, intellectual weaklings and parasitic academians currently heading up our government, media, and educational institutions.  If there's one thing to learn from the Obama administration it's that Keynesianism

just
does
not
work.

Forgot the moral argument that Paul Krugman has the right to tell you how much money you should earn, keep, save, spend, invest, be taxed upon, etc., because according to his wee-little academic econometrics model it's "what's best for society"

they're all wrong and (worse still)

they all know it (and worse still than that)

they don't care.

They are nothing more and nothing better than the modern day Catholic church killing people for reading the bible or being literate.  They wish to retain their power by keeping the masses ignorant about economics.  But unlike Europeans during the Dark Ages, most Americans are willing to be fattened and satiated watching The Bachelorette and getting some "great apps" at Applebee's.  Just remember come next fourth of July our founding fathers aren't rolling in their graves as much as you're merely pissing on them.

Why You Should Never Go to STEM Grad School

From our STEM Advanced Degreed Agent in the Field:

I just read your book “Bachelor Pad Economics” and discovered your other work; I thought it was great.  I’ve done pretty well for myself so far but I still wish I had that book years ago.  I would like to share my story about grad school in STEM.  Don’t worry, there’s a happy ending – sort of – but I wanted to share my experience with others and invite you to comment.

I grew up in a blue collar family in the mid-west and didn’t have much of money to go to college, so for my undergraduate I went to the satellite campus for a larger university that was about an hour from my parent’s house.  I decided to study computer science and I had won some great scholarships that covered the cost of tuition.  I did very well in the program and despite not having attended a big name school, I was able to score some paid internships with a large and prestigious tech company.  In my senior year I had great grades, more than a year’s work experience in the field, more money in the bank than when I started, and a sunny and idealistic outlook.  All of my professors said that I should go to grad school though and so instead of going to work upon graduation I went over to main campus to pursue my master’s degree.

First thing first, never go to grad school just because you are smart and hardworking enough to get in.  In grad school you need to focus on a narrow subtopic of your field and do “original research” so that you can publish journal papers that hardly anyone reads and beg the government for grant money.  You do this research under an adviser, who is basically a manager.  Your adviser provides you with lab space, finds sources of government funding, signs off on your coursework and thesis, tries to micromanage you, and then takes credit for your research despite not knowing the first thing about it.  You should start looking for an adviser before picking a grad school to make sure you are actually interested in the research the lab is engaged in.  In my case, my adviser sold me on a bill of goods about applying artificial intelligence to medical research being done at a more prestigious university.  In reality, he didn’t have a clue what these medical researchers were actually doing, he just had a friend who was doing a postdoc – that’s when you have a PhD but instead of finding a real job you work under a professor doing research – in that lab, and they were willing to accept me as free labor.  By the time I realized that I wasn’t going to be working on anything like what had been described to me, it would have been politically difficult to back out because my adviser had already bragged to the dean that he had established a collaborative research project with this other university.  Basically, I ended up finding some little niche where I could write computer programs that processed some data that the MDs couldn’t.  The work was incredibly tedious at times, and it wasn’t anything like what I had been sold on, but at least I was able to squeeze a thesis out of it and get the hell out of dodge.

My adviser used various forms of manipulation to pressure me to go get a PhD.  He even asserted that it wouldn’t overqualify me for any jobs, which I knew for a fact to be utter nonsense.  If you have a PhD that focuses on an area that isn’t applicable to the job you’re applying for, most big companies won’t consider you.  I decided to find a job with the company I had interned with as an undergrad.  When my adviser found out, he added a requirement that I write another paper before he would allow me to defend my thesis.  This delayed me by several months, resulted in me spending my last couple of weeks in grad school basically homeless and crashing on other people’s couches, and forced me to spend my last summer before starting work cooped up in a windowless room trying to throw together some nonsense paper.

It’s not to say it was all bad.  I actually enjoyed being a teaching assistant.  I would routinely get comments from students that I explained the material much better than the professors.  I lost something though, and not just the two years of my youth it had taken me to complete the program.  The whole thing made me much more bitter and cynical.  I got to see how professors really spend most of their time begging for grant money rather than teaching students or doing research themselves.  I got to see how a lot of these professors care more about prestige than actually advancing the frontiers of human knowledge.  I got to see how universities will spare no expense in building and updating facilities that parents and prospective students see during their campus tour but never seem to have enough money to buy quality equipment for student labs.  By chance, I actually got to overhear a conversation about hiring a new faculty member in which the only thing that was discussed was the effects on the department’s diversity rather than the qualifications of the different candidates.

Now that’s all over though, I’m making plenty of money and living comfortably.  Yes, I still deal with the typical corporate bullshit and I have to put up with Orwellian pandering to women and minorities.  A great example of this is the time when I was struggling to secure approval for necessary business travel while the company was flying women from around the world down to some “women in engineering” event – which from what I could gather consisted of a bunch of ego-stroking talks about how victimized they all are followed by a trip south of the border to party and shoot tequila.  It doesn’t help that I’m now living in a liberal namby-pamby state either, but at least there is still the internet where people are willing to talk plain truth.  All I need to do now is get to a point where I’m financially independent and finally say “fuck you” to all of this nonsense.

Thanks for being out there.

Why You Really Aren't "Investing" In the Stock Market

Important economics lesson here boys and girls!

What does it mean to "invest?"

Well, if you're leftist it means to take other people's money and piss it away on worthless social programs, typically headed up by connected cronies in the non-profit world.  For example we "invest" in our children in the schools, but they don't learn anything and are ranked near Mexico in terms of standardized test scores.  We "invest" in communities by building (Mark Dayton's favorite) "community centers."  they don't do anything but provide a place for bums and poor people to stay warm during winter or have social workers baby sit other people's kids during summer.  In every case, the people who "invested" the money never see a dime of return because...well...the truth is those REALLY AREN'T INVESTMENTS!

You see, an investment has to have some kind of rate of return.  Something where you take the money, you INVEST it in something, and that something provides you MORE than what you invested over the course of its life.  If you use this (reality based) definition, you would think this would apply to the stock market.  Your 401k's, your IRA's, your mutual funds!  Those are all REAL investments, right?

Oh, you sad, sad goodie, two-shoes, obedient suburbanite conservative SWPL people.

So sorry, it is not.

You see, the INITIAL trade, the VERY FIRST TIME a brand new stock is sold on the stock market, that is INDEED an investment.  We call this "initial" first time sale an "IPO" or "initial public offering."  This is when a company is looking for investors to finance it.  The company decides to sell some shares in its equity and various institutions, banks, hedge funds and other financial firms pony up the billions of dollars to get in on this "IPO."

The proceeds from these IPO's then go to the company which in turn then TRULY AND REALLY invests it.  They buy assets, they buy equipment, the hire people, they build plants.  They and their original financiers make the REAL investment.  But what happens after that?

How do you good obedient 401k Clergy people "invest" if the large financial institutions did all the "real" investing already?

Well, the answer is - you don't.

You see, for a brief moment in time you may accidentally and indirectly hold some original IPO shares through a mutual fund, but over time (quite rapidly actually) those original IPO purchasers do something with those shares they bought directly from the company.

They sell them.

To who? You, them, each other.

Anybody who will pay them more than what they paid for it.

Once that happens those shares are no longer actual "investments."  They are merely speculation.

This has two ramifications.

1.  This means the entirety of the US retirement planning system is based on speculation.  It's not about "investing in a new company" or "investing in an upstart."  The vast majority of retirement dollars are based on the hope that a savvy analyst or mutual fund manager has found a 10% pricing error in a stock that allows him/her to purchase it and ride that 10% increase up before selling it (and charging you 3% managerial fees).  Of course this says nothing about how now that the share of stock is so far removed from the company that it's economic variables that account for the majority of price swings, and so with QE-291 and artificially low rates prompting companies to leverage up and buy back their shares, OH, and let's not forget you 401k mindless zombies throwing trillions into the market every couple years, the stock market has skyrocketed when there's been no real underlying reason for it to.

2.  The stock market and economic growth no longer have anything to do with one another.

I love it when liberals desperately point to the stock market as if it is some barometer of economic growth, standards of living, or well being in the country.  Nearly everyone under 35 is under/unemployed, we've lost real, fulltime times on a nominal and adjusted for inflation basis, economic growth is lethargy, but hey hotdiggitydoooo!  Dat der stock market broke 17,000!  Obama's a genius!

In there's any explanation why the stock market is NOT the economy, it's that the ONLY economic growth to come from the stock market came from those IPO's.  After that money was invested, there was NOT A CENT MORE of economic growth due to the sale of those stocks.  Thus, any price increases (once again) have absolutely no bearing on any new investment going into the real economy.

Now, I know, I know.  I'm just a party pooper.

I was a party pooper before the Asian currency crisis.
I was a party pooper before the Dotcom crash.
I was a party pooper before the housing bubble
And I was a party pooper before the education bubble.

My question is simply this.

For all of you who got angry at people who said stocks were overvalued in 1999, that housing was overvalued in 2006, and that liberal arts degrees were worthless in 2009 (and there most certainly were VICIOUSLY and FURIOUSLY angry people I had to contend with back then) were the subsequent crashes and economic recessions worth it?  Would you have preferred to have the crashes over me and people like me trying to tell you the truth?  Or would you have preferred to avoid those recessions and collapses by maybe opening up your thick skulls to entertain something that wasn't bread and circus bullshit spoon-fed to you by politicians, bankers, Oprah, media and all the other "feel good, everything is awesome" establishment types?

Wait wait wait.

Lemme guess!

"This time it's different!?"

Enjoy that freaking decline.

Wednesday Night Wanderings

Never send a woman to do a man's job.

Never attend or send your kids to the University of Wisconsin.

Never attend or send your kids to Harvard University.

What Did I Tell You About Modern Day Christian Girls?

They abuse the religion for their own selfish aims.

And what a shock, she's a lawyer.

Why Stephen Smith is Proof Men Need to Ignore Political Correctness

Let me be brief.

We here in this "hate-filled," "mysoginistic," blabbity-blah-blah-freaking-blah sphere of the internet known as the Manosphere, are about the only "baseline" of reality and sanity that exists.

We don't have the billions of dollars that the MSM has.

We don't have the TRILLIONS of dollars that the government has.

But we have something that trumps them all.  And that is the god damned truth.

And when push comes to shove the people are going to be desperately searching for the truth.

And Stephen Smith DARED to speak about it.

Here's the deal men (and any women capable of intellectual honesty).

If you can't speak honestly, truthfully, and realistically about what is happening in society without getting:

fired
reprimanded
ostracized
ridiculed
sued
etc.

Then there is no society worth fighting for.  And that's the plain truth.  If you can't speak your honest, truth-adhereing mind without getting punished, then that society is over with and no longer worth fighting for.

So what are you going to do about it?

The reality is that this backlash and predisposition against the truth comes from the left.  I don't hear any conservatives, libertarians or tea partiers demanding the heads, firings and suspensions of people for speaking their minds.  It is SOLELY THE MONOPOLY of the left that comes in with the political correctness and DEMANDS people be fired for exercising their first amendment rights or having independent thought.

So let's see if Stephan Smith, who is black and that DOES play a role in this, starts to appreciate the a-racists (meaning non-racist) defense of his right to merely point out the truth?

Because the sooner everybody realizes, regardless of their skin, that it's the socialists (euphemistically called "democrats") that will throw anybody under the bus to gain power, the better this country is going to be.

In the meantime, enjoy that freaking decline.

Why We Just Can't "Print Off More Money"

A simple explanation for your friends if they ask or if you're having trouble during an argument with liberals:

Feminists invade comic-con

Why Never Being Able to Reach Your Full Potential is the Real Cause of Grief Among Conservatives and Libertarians

It is without a doubt that conservatives, libertarians, and other generally "pro-freedom" people I categorize as "Real Americans" suffer from a malaise, depression, sadness and grief as they watch this once great nation decay under socialism.  They see the country they grew up with turn on them, breaking all the premises and social contracts by which they based life decisions on in the past.  They look to their futures now with complete uncertainty and distrust where there was once complete confidence and serenity.  They look at their American legacy that not only looks like it will be vilely shat upon by future generations, but is currently and constantly mocked, ridiculed, and criminalized today.  And making it all worse is the maddening fact that it is their fellow Americans who ignorantly and blindly believe the bold faced lies told to them by politicians, and mindlessly vote to undo the greatest thing that has happened to this planet.

In short, everything they've worked for, stood for, believed, and advocated will be moot, making it seem their and their childrens' entire lives were wasted.  That this great good of freedom and Western Civilization that took humans 2 million years to achieve, will be wiped out by the idiocy and mental weakness of socialists in 50 years.  And that humanity will be plunged back into the darkness as we trade things like reality, truth, excellence, independence, individuality and freedom for false gods such as commune, egalitarianism, diversity, affirmative action, environmentalism, dependence and responsibility-free lives.

Yes, it is crushing indeed.

But merely admitting this fact does nothing to assuage our concerns, let alone solve the problem.  Thankfully, I believe I have happened upon something that will at least provide some relief, if not alleviate most Real Americans' grief to the greatest extent possible.

It is here we may have some disagreement. whereas I personally think all is lost and that we should "enjoy the decline," others still hold out hope, thinking Western Civilization can be turned around.  But whichever camp you fall into (or hybrid thereof), neither does anything to address or identify the true, singular psychological cause of Real Americans' grief.  Therefore, if we can at least identify the primary cause of our malaise we can at least address it, deal with it, and lift this depression that plagues us.  And that problem is:

That you'll never be able to reach your full potential.

No matter how you look at it, be it psychological, secular, religious, darwinistic, or genetic, humans have always wanted to take this one life they have and make the absolute best of it.  They not only want what's best for them, but they want to achieve some kind of greatness.  The problem is that while everybody wants greatness in their lives, not everybody is willing to work for it.  And with the replacing of republics with democracies we have put an end to forcing meritocratic behavior on the population, and instead given the power to the masses to legally steal other people's wealth.

This transformation has broken (or at least seriously weakened) the relationship between effort and success.  Worse still, it has destroyed the incentives that would inspire and propel those willing to work toward greatness.  But even worse than that, is when society no longer aspires towards excellence and greatness, nearly every aspect, institution, organ and component of society is corrupted and decayed, no longer allowing those who DO want to achieve greatness the opportunity to do so. And it is that aspect of decline that has stolen the birthright of greatness from all Real Americans.

Consider how every major aspect of American life has been compromised to suit the benefit of socialists and lazy people at the expense of greatness.

Education - Education is epitome of this.  Are you kidding me?  We need to have 19 YEARS of schooling before you train a human with enough skills to be considered employable in today's labor market?  K-12 is not enough?  We need a bachelors degree AND "masters preferred?"

If there is an example where standards have been so lowered to benefit a corrupt network of lazy socialists at the expense of potential greatness the public schools and university system is it.  Imagine what greatness has been;

squelched
destroyed
beaten out of
beleaguered
dissolved
eliminated
bored to death
and just plain drummed out of

the hundreds of millions of kids that had to listen to a talentless, inexperienced, 23 year old "education major" drone on 8 hours a day.  And not only "drone on," but to take genuinely interesting topics exciting (the American revolution, science, math, history, etc.) and fail so spectacularly at making them interesting to their students, that their students fall asleep.  How many future Bill Gates were "Ritalined" out of greatness?  How many Milton Friedman's feel asleep because their history teacher couldn't teach economics to save his life?  How many Thomas Edison's never materialized because they were sat in front of somebody thrice their age with 1/3rd the IQ?

Additionally, this says NOTHING about the politics most public teachers are more concerned with than genuinely educating the children and creating greatness.  No it's more important Little Jimmy learns about global warming than the American Constitution.  No, it's more important he learn about diversity than financial planning.  And no, it's more important he be held back in the same class with the problem children of single mothers than be allowed to accelerate at his own pace and graduate at 13.

It is mind blowing to think of the millions of child-geniuses there may have been over the past 40 years whose potential was completely lost to this society because we insisted in sending our children through mindless, indoctrination baby-sitting camps designed first and foremost to benefit the teachers unions and a daycare boon to dysfunctional families.

Sadly, that's just K-12. If the education bubble has shone a light so bright even your average ignorant American idiot can see it, it's the outright scam higher education has become.  As if fleecing parents $150,000 for 13 years of property taxes wasn't enough, no, we need to fleece their children for $150,000 more.  And can anybody sit there with a straight face and say that colleges and universities offer anywhere near the education they once did, let alone an education that warrants the usurious tuition they charge?

It's not so much that the higher education system failed to identify and promote child geniuses (those were all destroyed in K-12).  It's that higher education went on to cripple the finances of most normal kids as well, ensuring they never reach their full potential in life.  In the end we don't have 14 year olds capable of work and innovation, but rather 34 year olds who are still living at home.

Careers - Education is not the only institution putting hurdles, if not, landmines in front of Real Americans and their desire to achieve greatness.  Most employers are too.  Gone are the days of hard work, innovation, loyalty and excellence.  Instead we have politics, ass kissing, brown nosing, and lobbying.  And don't forget diversity training, sexual harassment training, sexual harassment suits, force donations to charities, quotas, affirmative action, CSR departments, mandatory employee "community service," and progressive credentialism.

Even if you were a child genius, and even if your genius was honed and sharpened for those "mandatory" 19 years of education, in 98% of the instances it would all be for naught in that most employers place more value on people skills kissing ass and not rocking the boat lying than any vaccine or new technology you can create.  It's why the likes of Schiff were mocked and ignored and books like these didn't do any damn good.  In short, corporate America is so corrupted by the incompetents that populate the country the ONLY way you'll ever come even close to your potential is through self-employment.

Economic Standards of Living -A study I did showed that if the economy had grown like it did from the 1940's to the 1960's income per capita would be around $99,000 per person.

Imagine the implications for standards of living.

We wouldn't have a social security/medicare/pensions crisis.
We wouldn't have the national debt we do today
We wouldn't have any employment problems
We wouldn't have anywhere near the divorce rates we have
We wouldn't worry about paying for college
And we wouldn't be worried about affording health care

But such an opportunity cost doesn't speak to what such excess capital could afford us.

With so much money there'd be tons more innovation.  Diseases that could be cured, life expectancies would increase, technological advances would accelerate (imagine the Internet in 1973 and XBox 360 in 1981 and smart phones in 1994), whatever we have today imagine we had it 10 years ago.

But no, it's more important to slow down societal progress and blunt excellence so welfare bums can collect a check and spit out more children.

Family -And finally family.

You are never going to have June or Ward Cleaver.

For all the fun and mockery mindless, ignorant Americans made of them for being "square" and being "SWPL," in the end most Americans would kill for a loyal, beautiful, skinny wife and a handsome, wise, reliable, fatherly  husband.  Instead today you're going to get what you sow, and sadly, that SEVERELY limits your potential in life in that it limits the most important thing in your life - family.

Today's selection of modern day spousal candidates have:

Psychological issues
Financial issues
Familial issues (you know, already divorced, 3 kids, 3 different moms/dads)
Drug issues
Obesity
Attitude
Student loans
Worthless degrees
Poor job prospects
Credit card debt
Car debt
Household debt

and a never ending litany of other deal-breaking baggage that makes a Leave it to Beaver family a 1 in a million chance.  Sadly, this is the single biggest cap on reaching your potential in life in that family and loved ones are the most important things in life.  But hey, at least some angry 70's feminists got to make 3 generations of Americans wallow in their own misery.

We could address other aspects of potential-limiting in America, but you get the point.  Our general inability to achieve our best is limited as we celebrate and invest in our worst.  Had we not squandered our money on the losers of society we wouldn't have millions of youth mired in under/unemployment, but rocketing towards their best career potential.  People would have enough excess income they could pursue their dreams, resulting in new musicians, artists, innovators, authors, and the commensurate works and creations that would come with it.  Families would be more stable, resulting in a lot happier of a population.  And nearly every one of us could take our one finite life and nearly be guaranteed it would not be wasted, ensuring we'd have no regrets on our death bed.  Sadly, this reality was just barely whisked out of our grasp, and this is the kernel, the nucleus, the true cause of the grief of all Real Americans.

The question is how do we cope?  How do we deal with this?

There are no universal answers, but if you're willing to listen to somebody who has given it some thought, here's my suggestions:

First, realize it's not your fault.  You didn't control being born into the filth of the hippie generation and the successive filth spawned after it.  You were just really unlucky.  You must accept this, but more importantly FORGIVE YOURSELF and NO LONGER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.  You must realize and accept you cannot fight stupid and there's just too much stupid in this country.

Second, come up with FEASIBLE goals you can achieve.  You may not get that skinny wife or the employed husband.  You may not get that career as a cop.  But find out what you can do and do it.

Third, realize that the most important thing in life is other humans.  Family, friends, loved ones.  I personally refuse to waste my time on leftists, socialists, feminists and other mentally damaged people.  Life is too short.  Additionally, think about the likes of Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.  Miserable people that nobody loves while they or their spouse fucks other people.  Most leftists live in a delusional world and very few are truly happy.  I say that not to make you feel better, but because it's true.  They have surrounded themselves with leftists.  How happy can a human in that environment truly be?

Fourth, stay physically attractive and have sex with good looking people.  While excellence may not be permitted in terms of finance, success, or your career, there is very little the left can do to stop you from being in good shape and attracting good looking people.  This strikes at their core (envy), but gives them no way to get "retribution" in that you can't "tax" or "confiscate" beauty.  The best they can do is things like "fat acceptance" or try to shame people for being sexually attracted to what they are.  Nothing pisses off a weak, limpy male leftist or a fat, angry female feminist than two hot conservatives or libertarians enjoying each other.

Fifth, collect as much government cheese as possible.  This may sound counterintuitive or at least immoral, but realize this is a democracy and society in its infinite ignorance has voted for bread and circuses.  These ARE the new rules AND THEY ARE FORCED ON YOU.  Ergo, you do yourself a great disservice and disrespect adhering to some inapplicable, higher-caliber moral code.  Play by the rules they gave you.

Sixth, consider buying the book "Enjoy the Decline."  It is EXPRESSLY written for all conservatives, libertarians and Real Americans and is designed to relinquish you of as much of your anger, grief, depression and malaise as possible so you can move on and enjoy the life as much as you can.  Life is too short to be angry, sometimes it just takes a little nudge or a different viewpoint to understand how to let go of the anger...or at least not let it ruin your life.

Geeks for Consent - Feminists Invade Another Male Place

Interesting story.

While I am against groping and blatant acts of sexual harassment, not having geek girls dress in alluring geek outfits would kill any Comic Con convention.  ie - Comic Cons would end.

Now many would say that that wouldn't happen.  That just because groping and blatant acts of sexual harassment would be banned or socially ostracized, doesn't mean men won't show up with the original intention of doing so.

However, as is always the case, it's in the gray details where feminists operate.

Is cat calling at a convention with purposely hotly-dressed chicks harassment?
Is taking pictures of them also considered harassment?
What about having hot models on staff to parade and advocate new products?
What about a false claim of harassment? (because they never happen)

Well, as far as Geeks for Consent are concerned - yes.

At this point you are now starting to wonder what kind of people would ruin all the fun?

Yes, we don't want groping.
Yes, you don't want stalking.
And you do not want approaches when clearly shot down.

But NO Princess Leias??????
NO hot Nazi chicks auctioning off Wolfenstein - NWO???
NO various anime girls all dolled up???

You may as well ban leather chaps in Sturgis.  Who would advocate such a thing?

Well, let me answer this.

Feminists.

You see the three ladies who are launching this crusade I gander are first and foremost feminists and not genuine, true geeks.  If you read through their profiles their primary interest is a religious adherence to feminism.  Their degrees do not indicate geekery or anything IT.  None of them mentioned hobbies aligned with a Comic-Con.  And the ONLY thing that could be considered related to Comic-Con culture is one of them has an online comic.

While there may be a tangential and minority interest in geek culture, its obvious this is a blatant and obvious assault on a primarily male-institution in an attempt NOT to do anything as noble as prevent groping and make it more inviting to women, but rather to destroy it be making acceptable and inevitable behavior unacceptable and banned.  And in doing so ruin everybody's fun making others as miserable as they are.

I cannot convey enough how important it is that you understand that envy, jealously, hatred, and crusaderism (ie-ego) are the key drivers of modern day feminism.  And that you absolutely CANNOT take their stated intentions at face value as it is almost always 100% guaranteed to be nothing more than a ruse to hide their ulterior agenda. If you do, you misdiagnose the problem and let evil, despicable people lessen your life.

Another Ugly Girl

Whatever you do, don't buy Enjoy the Decline.  Because if you did then there'd be more pretty ladies like this portraying their beauty on my web site.  And we certainly wouldn't want that now would we!!!???

Subtracting Government from GDP

In my previous post I wanted to see what GDP looked like when we took out the government component of GDP.  It made for an interesting observation, but as many of you know that component of GDP does NOT account for the majority of government spending.  The majority of government spending is on social programs aka "income transfers," or by it's real name "theft".

I then posed the challenge to create the argument why government spending in its entirety (most of which really is theft) should be DEDUCTED from total GDP.  Keynesians have logically and traditionally argued that government expenditures on goods and services should be considered part of GDP in that they DO indeed result in additional goods and services being created.  However, us slightly higher-caliber of economists know that there is something fishy about just "assuming" government spending translates into higher economic output and thus higher standards of living.  So allow me to explain.

First, there is the broken window fallacy that many of you are familiar with.  Missiles and bombs built here in America only to be exploded on the Iraqi population does NOT indeed improve standards of living here.  Over-paid government contracts handed out to connected cronies in Washington DC to do make work job to "improve diversity" or "study connectedness" does NOT improve standards of living.  Ergo, you can assume the "G" in the C+I+G+(E-I) formula in GDP is most likely completely overstated.

Second, how does one account for the theft euphemistically called "income transfers?"  The Keynesians rightly point out that income transfers do NOT result in additional GDP.  Parasites (and that's what they are) receive money in exchange for NO labor, NO production, and NO economic product.  Ergo, no increase to GDP.  However, while Keynesians would argue that there is no increase in GDP and "that's it," I would argue that the money blown on "income transfers" is a lost potential of economic productivity.

In a free market where there would be no parasites, that money would "command" genuine economic production from somebody.  Ergo, the $3 trillion we piss away annually (never mind local and state budgets) on theft/income transfers COULD HAVE GONE TO PURCHASE/DEMAND GENUINE ECONOMIC PRODUCTION.

In other words "income transfers" are like steroids.  They boost nominal "economic performance" but do not speak to the genuine economic productive capacity of a nation.  Therefore, I argue to subtract out ALL government spending to see what the core productive capacity of the country is.

When we do this, the results are interesting.

It takes a keen eye, but what we suspected all along was true.  During the depths of the recession TRUE economic growth was much worse than what the obfuscation of government spending attempted to convince of other wise.

However, in all intellectual honesty, economic growth in the private sector has outpaced government spending since 2011 and has posted gains in excess of government spending.  Further research shows that this is indeed the truth as government spending has indeed stagnated:

What this shows is an important lesson for any real economist or person who desires to be intellectually honest.  It doesn't matter what president is in office and what his political affiliation is.  It only matters what POLICIES are effected by the entire government.

If you look at the chart you'll see that the ONLY president to reside over any modicum of fiscal discipline was President Clinton.  There (again, partially enforced by a Republican congress) the OVERALL government restrained spending and enjoyed an economic Dotcom boom.  This resulted in a non-government economy growing at a rate much faster than government spending AND a drastic reduction in our nation's debt.  But since Bush Jr, and most certainly Obama, you see economic growth below governement spending and the resultant crushing national debt.

The recent restrain of government spending is a good thing and a sign of genuine hope that has never really existed in the Obama presidency. I would like to say that if current trends continue private sector economic growth will outpace government spending and the US would inevitably pay off its debts, outgrow the national debt, and we'd be on our way to a glorious future.

Sadly a visit to your:

Local public university
Public school
Wal-Mart
Ghetto
Barrio
Trailer park

will tell you this is merely a fleeting economic condition and our general plunge into 3rd World-ism will continue.

Enjoy the decline!

A New Cappy Cap Book Babe!

We have the good fortune of having another pretty young lady willing to grace this ugly blog with her beauty, providing some much-needed scenery amongst all the charts and data.

There are more to come, but in the meantime buy Bachelor Pad Economics because...ummm...well....hot chicks!

(Also, any girls interested in modeling with the Ole Captain's books, please let him know.  You get the books for free and, well, that's about it).

Economic Growth Without Government Spending

An interesting thought piqued my economist mind:

What if we measured economic growth without the government component of GDP?

And so I did and the results on the face of it are "good."

You'll note that ever since recovering from the depths of The Great Recession, GDP without government (ie - the private sector) has been outpacing the component of growth coming from the public sector.  This is good in the sense that the private sector is growing faster than the parasite that lives off of it.  Theoretically, if this kept up, government would shrink relative to the rest of the economy, even to the point it would consume less than 1% GDP.

But there's a problem.

The government component of GDP does NOT include income transfers which account for the majority of the budget at both the state and national levels.

So here's the riddle intrepid aspiring, junior, deputy, and otherwise economists:

If GDP does NOT consider income transfers, how do you make an "economic argument" to incorporate income transfers into the calculation of GDP, primarily that they should be SUBTRACTED from GDP to measure the true economic production of a nation?  Specifically, just because a bunch of old fogey Keynesian economists said GDP should not subtract income transfers, what is the argument and rationalization that we should?

I know the answer, but I'd be curious to see if you do.

(answer will be provided in the next post!)

It's Called "Capital Flight"

and it's a feature, not a bug of ignorant, business-hating socialist retards voting socialism.

"The Red Pill Bible"

A review I found very humbling:

I am a currently in my late 20s and discovered the red pill about a year ago after a bad breakup (typical right?). As I've stated in other reviews, I'm building a red pill library and have read every single book Roosh V has published, The Game, The Predatory Female, The Way of Men, The Manipulated Man, Men on Strike, The Rational Male, and Now Bachelor Pad Economics. I suggest you add all the books I've named to your library as they are all 4 or 5 star in what they aim to achieve. I will say that I previously stated that "The Rational Male" would be the 1 book I would purchase a friend If I could only pick 1 out of my red pill library....But then I read this book! I found out about Captain Capitalism aka Aaron Clarey and quickly watched all his Youtube videos over the span of a week and shared them with friends I knew would appreciate it. We all came to the same conclusion: Aaron Clarey is THE MOST UNPLUGGED MAN ON THIS EARTH! He's so unplugged that sometimes he's annoying because he's telling you truths you are not ready to accept. Bachelor Pad Economics is the most comprehensive book of any Red Pill book I've ever read (Though the other books are not necessarily attempting to be Red Pill Bibles). This literally is THE RED PILL BIBLE. Buy this book first if you are trying to unplug. Buy this first, then buy The Rational Male, Then buy Bang and Day bang from Roosh V then the others previously named and you will be a very smart and well rounded individual. My only complaint is not about this book but that I wish Aaron would advertise this book on Return of Kings or somewhere because if this book could touch 100,000 men or become a New York Bestseller (by some odd twist of fate) we as men could take this world back. Thank you Aaron Clarey for caring so much about other men that you took your time to comprise a 500 plus page book that will help men like myself reach our full potential. I'm forever indebt to you and best believe when I reach my level of success you as well as the other authors will receive a nice check in the male because the $9.99 price doesn't justify the invaluable knowledge you have given me.

42, Female, Unmarried, Professional...Miserable

How's that feminism thing working out for you ladies?

On a sad related note, perhaps it's because you put a career and material items ahead of human relationships and interaction.

I'm going to say it again - feminism is a mental disease.  And that's not hyperbole or rhetoric.  It's a warning to younger women and girls.
