Communism + Super Fastfoward = Capitalism

The thing that stuck out most to me in this video is how the director HAD to fast forward the video to make the city look like it was bustling.  But if you were to play it at normal speed, you'd notice the SEVERE and DRAMATIC lack of human (and therefore) economic activity in the country.

The ONLY thing of economic noteworthiness was the DHL truck which I was amazed to see in operation.  The rest, if you can slow it down to normal real life speed, is actually depressing.

They conveniently forgot to show the brutal concentration camps and execution sites. I hear the North Korean countryside is not quite so great either. Probably an honest mistake though. I couldn't see someone who promotes Communism intentionally lying to prove their point and make their ideology look good. Never. They just wouldn't ever do that.

Look at their faces, they look... Depressed.

If the director of this video honestly believes that this is a "busy city," then they obviously have never been to/lived in the NJ/NY area.

On another note, I have to agree with @Atham. These people all look depressed; like a sudden gust of wind would knock them over.

I wouldn't be surprised if all that foot traffic was choreographed specifically for the filmmakers. They would have had handlers watching everything they do. As for the DHL truck, they are German-owned and will ship there.

It's a weird thing to say, but this IS North Korea after all. Who knows if much of that is even real? I wouldn't be surprised if some of those cars are or buildings are computer generated footage handed over to the filmmakers. North Korea regularly makes use of fakes and Photoshop, and has even used video game footage in propoganda.
