Mentu takes the plunge.
All I can say is it was the best decision of my life and all men should get one.
First, a reminder of the financial benefits.
Second, an irrefutable philosophical argument for having one.
Though, again, I am not saying all men should have one or that I am against kids. Matter of fact, men who have vasectomies are the ones you WANT to have kids because they care enough about the unborn kids as to think about what kind of father they would be.
Enjoy the decline!
Ever hear of PVPS?
i agree. I spent years planning my vascectomy only to bail when learning about PVPS its simply not worth it. And upon further research everyone gets PVPS. Imagine millions of sperm clogged up before being reabsorbed into the body on a daily basis. This isnt something that can be avoided. Its much better to tie a womans tubes bc only 1 egg reabsorbed/month vs millions of sperm...
You are no different from the people you criticize: maximize pleasure now, no responsibility later. If you had decided not to have kids by being celibate, by the way, my estimation of you would have grown. That's courageous. Vasectomy? Not so much.
One other detail Capt. C: Within the next TWO YEARS the male pill will be available. No hormones involved. All from Cottonseed oil.
PS: In less than two years, baldness is cured too! Genetic alteration of protein-(something...I'm no scientist) so my bald spot is GONE!
Only a sucker gets a V today. Wait 2 years and your semen is WORTHLESS! And in one month you can reverse it.
Stick to economics, dude. It's your thing. You ain't no scientist, either.

If you have read this blog carefully, you would know that the host's decision to get a vasectomy was based on careful consideration of future economic and social trends and how these will affect his life. This demonstrates future-time orientation, which is considered a form a responsibility.

What's the difference between these two choices?
