Rantings and tirades of a frustrated economist.
First thing I did the morning after Sandy Hook was to start politicking my school district to arm the janitors and teachers. The second thing I did was spend about 6 weeks buying an arsenal and stocking up on ammo. The essential lesson of Sandy Hook was: the world is not safe. If you want to survive a confrontation with an increasingly desperate criminal element (as well as young men made homicidal through over-medication) be armed and be trained, especially if you are a woman. Liberals are brainwashed into being victims.
This was such a great story, and thanks for linking it. It would be nice if more women read real cases like this one, and adapted their views. Seriously, what was this woman supposed to do if she hadn't prepared (with her husband's guidance) to fire a weapon? Stories like this should be guiding our policy, not shootings in gun-free zones. Thanks for sharing it.
Shot in the chest and in stable condition. She needs to upgrade from .38 Special with that glass in the way. But nicely done.
