Now How Cool Is That?

So guess who gave a hat tip to the Ole Captain!?

MIKE - FREAKING - ROWE!

About the only thing cooler would be Bruce Willis saying he needed me to co-star in the next Die Hard...as long as it doesn't suck like the last one.

In any case, you should all go visit Mike Rowe's web page of friend him on facebook and the reason is simple.  Not because we all like Mike Rowe.  But because he has the status and celebrityship to actually convince younger people to make wise choices when it comes to pursuing the right fields.  Guy's got a noble cause...and...well...more patience and charisma than I do to convince youth.

Great! I like people promoting the trades. Having clients in the lumber and building material industry, I can say firsthand that, although they took a nasty hit during the beginning of the recession, now people are having to raise prices because they can't find enough qualified help.

"My name's Mike Rowe, and this is my job. I explore the country looking for people who aren't afraid to get dirty — hard-working men and women who earn an honest living doing the kinds of jobs that make civilized life possible for the rest of us. Now, get ready to get dirty."
From a man that promotes trade industry, and shows the jobs that men tend to do to keep society rolling. And he brings them to the forefront as they should be.

Words can't express the win of this. I thoroughly enjoy the show.

Mike is a guy I seriously look up to, in the full meaning of seeing his as a life well-lived and a head well-adjusted. Excellent.
